Amazon Favorite Kitchen Favorites
I spend a good majority of my time in the kitchen. I love the chance to throw together a meal, snack, or sweet treat. And I find so much joy in cooking and a clean kitchen. They go hand in hand.
Below are some of my favorite items from Amazon for the kitchen.
Amazon Kitchen Favorites
Lemon squeezer.
This may be one of the most used items in my kitchen. I use fresh lemon and lime juice in my cooking on a daily basis. This has a slot of limes as well as lemons. I throw it in the dishwasher to clean.
Reusable metal straws.
These are perfect for smoothies or cocktails. We don’t have any plastic straws in the house. These are the only option.
Rubbermaid Brilliance Storage Set
I found these through another blogger a few years ago and they were life-changing. All the clunky mismatched Tupperware went to donation. These have been so great and have lasted the longest of any food storage container. I also use them to ship my sister cookies from time to time and now she has ordered them to convert over her food storage system. Seriously, if you order anything from this post, let it be these! They freeze well, clean in the dishwasher, and come in a glass version as well.
Non-stick silicone baking mat.
I have a few of these that I use regularly. These have been life-changing. I am not sure why I waited so long to purchase them. I save on parchment paper and I don’t use the cooking spray when baking cookies. They slide right off. When I bake vegetables they are tossed in light olive oil. These clean up well with soap and water or the dishwasher.
Handheld frother.
This is an inexpensive option to upgrade your morning coffee. I love warm milk in my coffee. You can use it for almond or oat milk too. Add vanilla bean or maple syrup for a change in flavor. I have my Nespresso frother which came with the machine which I am currently using. Sold separately it is $99, this is $19.99
Organizing fridge bins.
These help keep everything organized in the fridge. We cook a lot at home and our fridge is packed with fruits, vegetables, eggs, and meats at the start of the week. These are so helpful!
Kitchen Scale
One of my most used items in the kitchen. Great for baking! A lot of the French recipes I use are in grams.
Souper cubes.
I use these regularly. This was a Shark Tank discovery. I make a lot of soups and prefer my own chicken stock if I have it. This allows me to freeze my chicken stock in cup portions which makes cooking so much easier. I have a pack of 2 so I regularly have 8 cups of chicken stock frozen.
Eufy Vaccum.
I love my Eufy vacuum. It was a holiday gift from my family. I love a clean house and I couldn’t think of anything I really needed this holiday. I loved it so much my sister ended up buying one for her house and now my dad wants one. We have an older version, I didn’t know there was a new version with an app. I wish I could I splurged more on the newer model. She runs daily every morning and Henri chases her around the house for added entertainment.
Microfiber cleaning towels.
We switched to these recently to help reduce waste when cleaning. They are easy to throw in the washer and reuse and it helps save money.
Duralex clear bowls.
I use these ALL the time for cooking and baking. I don’t know how I lived without them and I want everyone to own them. This set comes in a variety of sizes. We use the small bowl the most but the big bowls do come in handy when baking bread and large quantities. They nest for easy storage.
Nespresso coffee machine.
I have owned mine for years. This is another family favorite. We also own a drip coffee machine but this is a great option if you are looking for a quick cup in the morning or on the go.
Le Creuset Cast Iron 8 qt.
This is a great price for this size. It comes in multiple colors. I use mine for sauces and to bake bread.
Staub Cast-Iron Cocotte
I have the white one and the price is great if you can grab it. It does take a little elbow grease to keep this color clean. I use this for roast chicken and soups. It is one of the most used items in my kitchen.
Rubbermaid Pantry organization.
These run on a similar system as the fridge containers and use the same lids. I have ordered these twice from Amazon to keep my pantry in order. You need a good amount to store away everything. Once you order one set, you will realize you want and need more.
Metal Whisks (set of 3)
I use whisks daily for making omelets, dressings, and marinades. It is great to have a few on hand as one is always dirty in the dishwasher.
Zester/Microplane
I use this pretty often when it comes to recipes. A little lemon zest here and there goes a long way for flavor. I pop this in the dishwasher for an easy clean.
Glass reusable soap dispensers
Keep your kitchen clutter-free and clean with these reusable soap dispensers. You can use one for lotion too.
Spice jar labels and bottles.
Our spice bottles are a bit of a hodgepodge. This is on my to-do list. I do have labels from my label maker of all of my most used spices. I put the label on the top so I can grab them quickly. This would make life so much easier if everything was organized. I also regularly clear out old spices. Trader Joe’s has affordable replacements.
Garlic Press
Garlic is a common ingredient in my cooking. This makes life so much easier when I need large amounts of fresh garlic.
