Shop Romantic Rooftops of Montmartre here

Happy Sunday! Most of the US was covered in snow or ice this week. I hope everyone stayed safe and warm. Henri enjoyed the snow (almost a foot) we had this week. We are slowly making progress on wedding planning and should have a venue narrowed down soon. It hasn’t been an easy process.

The above photo was taken several years ago when I explored Montmartre in January on a solo trip. I had a big dream to move to Paris and I had no idea that life would bring me back to an apartment in Montmartre a year later just a few minutes from this very spot.

  1. Your “Links I Love” are always replete with great leads; thank you for curating these for your readers! I saw these charming Paris items in the just-dropped Gump’s catalog, and thought you might like them: Paris Scenes Coasters (set of 6, $35), J’aime Paris Jacquard-woven Cosmetic Bag ($70), and Lalique Anemone Votive ($125):

  2. If you are going to Paris in April, we have been there a few times for my birthday on the 14th. We have started to think about it. Really depends on being at some state of normalcy. But even my doctor told me at my checkup a week ago, to go. So, I’m feeling better about it. We were there exactly two years ago. What I didn’t know at the time was that I had Covid which was circulating there already.

  3. Looking forward to your Paris trip planning adventure in April; I have a 9-day trip planned in
April and I am gathering all my stuff to draft an itinerary (6th trip to Paris), so checking out your itinerary will provide some inspiration. Merci!

  4. The Chelsea boot, from Nordstrom, is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I wanted the black but they weren’t available in my size. I was lucky enough to snag the burgundy ones (I think I got the last pair). Thx for the link in your post. I love the Guy Degrenne Salam teapots & have several in different colors & sizes. The green/jade color is quite pretty & looks nice with the pink one. I just ordered a 3-cup Mariage Freres retro-style teapot in black & can’t wait to get it. As always, thank you Rebecca for sharing your great finds.
