What I Wore in Paris, September 2026

This past trip to Paris was a whirlwind. Six nights, four hotels, lots of unpacking and repacking. I keep a plane outfit: comfortable pants and a cozy sweater for fall. There is a whole outfit formula down to a science. A routine helps me stay organized, and I travel a lot.

Friday

I arrived on Friday, and it was much warmer than anticipated. Luck was on my side, and my room was ready! That let me unpack quickly and freshen up before heading to lunch. I wore this green sweater and Frame jeans with Margaux flats.

Once I was out and about, I quickly realized it was too warm for a sweater, so I bought a T-shirt from one of my favorite spots, Majestic Filatures. The chocolate brown color was sold out at the first location, so I walked to the second location close to Saint Sulpice to grab it. Worth it! This was, of course, a seasonal color and perfectly on theme with Staub’s espresso launch.

I picked up flowers to surprise my Paris family for a birthday celebration and changed back into my green sweater. This Gerard Darel bag was the one I carried the most often.

Saturday
On Saturday morning, we were off to the Flea Market. It started off a little chilly but warmed up nicely. I selected this Frame blouse from last season because of the brown hues. Frame jeans were on repeat the whole week, along with this chocolate brown belt.
During the day out and about with my camera, I carried my Cuyana top zip everywhere.

We had a little time in the afternoon, and I popped out for a blowout around the corner from the hotel before we had our boat cruise down the Seine.

This dress and blazer were gifted by L’Agence and are the perfect combo for Paris. I wasn’t going to pack them, but when Yulia was over, she shot me in them and convinced me I needed to bring them to Paris. The boat cruise was perfect for it. Expect to see this outfit again for the holidays.

Sunday
We woke up on Sunday for a full agenda. First up was a private tour of the Rodin Museum. We stayed up late and pushed our start time back a bit. Our agenda had us heading to northern France near the Staub factory, which meant we also had to pack our luggage and move hotels.
I wore this ME+EM blouse I love so much with a brown belt, Frame jeans, and Margaux flats.

I carried my Sézane trench with me but really didn’t need it because of the fabulous warm weather.

That evening, we had a more relaxed dinner on the hotel property. I wore my Frame polka-dot blouse (gifted) with Frame jeans, black Demi flats, and a mini Cuyana bag.
Monday
Monday was the factory tour, and we were told to wear more casual clothes and closed-toed shoes because we had to wear special protective gear from head to toe.
We had a long bus ride back to Paris and quickly checked into our hotel and headed off to a cooking class which didn’t give much time to freshen up before the evening.

For our cooking class, I wore this Gerard Darel sweater, Pintuck Frame jeans, and Margaux flats. Taylor Ann also followed the pintuck-jean trend. We were shopping for Jimmy Fairly sunglasses on the last night.
Tuesday

The Clyde Sézane coat runs large; size down if you don’t want it to be too oversized. I am wearing a size 4.
Tuesday was a photo shoot with Katie Donnelly (she shot the above photo). I had a full day of meetings and had to move hotels again. This day was a Strike day, and traffic was crazy. I barely made my appointment across town. Once I finished my meetings, I couldn’t wait to settle into my last hotel and had dinner solo at a place close by, just down the street.
Wednesday
Wednesday was the trip’s first and only rainy day. We had lovely and warm weather for a few straight days. I love a good rainy day in Paris and hoped for at least one during my September visit. A whole week can make it challenging, but one day is perfect. It couldn’t have been timed better. I had a few meetings and just had a bunch of errands around Paris, and my hair went up for the rainy day. The Clyde trench came in handy, along with my travel umbrella.

Thursday
Thursday was a travel day for me. I spent late into the night prepping and packing my suitcase to make sure everything fit. Skincare and comfortable clothes, including these pants, are the heroes for a long-haul flight. I also found these boxers to be the best decision, and they made the flight so much more comfortable.

The finale for the way home in my Clyde trench and two very full suitcases.
