It was a big adjustment coming home. Not just for sleep and jet lag, but catching up on so much while I was gone. Paris had me glowing and on cloud 9 for two straight weeks and it is always a struggle to return to reality. I call it the Paris Hangover. The best way to recover is to book another trip…
Grab your coffee and croissants and join me for this week’s links I love. ❤️
I missed out on the series Before Sunrise and I heard so many girls talk about it in Paris I am making it homework for readers if you haven’t seen it. I will be snuggled up with Henri and a bowl of popcorn watching this weekend.
The new chic brasserie that attracts all of Paris. Adding this for my next trip to Paris
I wrote this post on what it is like in Paris right now and what you need to know about traveling including CDC cards and overall safety and mood in Paris.
My copy of Baking with Dorie arrived and I love it. It is a perfect gift for a Francophile foodie. There are so many recipes I bookmarked to make.
I wrote about my Paris agenda on all the places I stayed and a little more about my trip in this post.
The Laundress is currently 25% off. I recommend you start with this set if you are new to their products. They are plant-based and female-owned which I love. It’s the only soap I use! You can use code REBECCA25 and receive a free stain bar for orders over $25.
Paris 2022 Calendars are shipping now! This is a great way to support my small business and all the content that I provide year-round!
Holiday Decor gift ideas. Supply chain delays are making it harder for things to arrive on time. Get your shopping and decor done early. I rounded up some of my favorites here.
It’s the Caudalie Friends and Family Sale. I stocked up in Paris where the prices are better. If you can’t make it to Paris, the sale gives you a great opportunity to order items at a discounted price that is closer to Paris prices. I had my skin mapped and they made suggestions based on age/oil/environment to improve my skin routine and overall routine.
In other movie news, I watched “How to Be Single” on the flight home and it was so good. The best advice I got in my early 30’s was to enjoy being single. I feel as a society we put so much pressure on dating and finding a mate, we miss the joys and importance of being single.
I am excited to cook along with Daniel Boulud on Tuesday. If you want to join in, there is still space available and it’s free!
I ordered this sweater for Paris and arrived after I left. I have now worn it two times this week. It is sweater weather in Chicago so I am sure I will get lots of use out of it. I love the button details down the back! I ordered it in a size small.
Ralph Lauren restarts the fantasy. NYT article This is my favorite date night/girls’ nightspot for drinks in Chicago.
My mini latte bowls are currently on sale. I use these almost daily! They sell out quickly so I would grab them while you can.
