Links I Love : November Week 2
This week in Chicago, we had our first snowfall of the season. It wasn’t too bad, but most of us were surprised to wake up to snow and as the morning passed there were a few inches on the ground. I feel like this was the push into the Holiday Season. I have already started listening to Christmas music on occasion and my Gift Guides come out this week so stay tuned!
I spent the weekend with my Dad here in Chicago who was visiting from Ohio with his girlfriend. Our same arguments still remain and it wasn’t an easy weekend. It is the hardest walking away from my Dad knowing that I disappoint him for not being who he wants me to be. This is still something I am working on and it comforting to know I have the support of my Mom and Sister.

Things I LOVE
These faux leather leggings from Club Monaco I could live in all Winter long. Plus they are on Sale.
Not to get too personal, but I went organic with my deodorant. I have been reading how important it is to have natural ingredients in your deodorant so I am giving this lavender and sage one a try. Anyone have thoughts on this subject? Have you switched?
I recently heard about the book “Bored and Brilliant” and how it is important to let yourself be bored to fuel your creativity. Too often we are filling our time with technology. I love this idea and look forward to reading this book.
Sweater season just started and I am already sick of my sweaters. I ordered this one from JCrew and love this Pink one from Nordstrom. Where are you finding your sweaters this year?
I LOVE Caudalie lip moisturizer (I have at least 4 on hand at all times) and now they have these adorable lip tints called French Kiss. I want one in each color. This makes a great stocking stuffer or gift under $20.
Now that the weather has turned, I have been hibernating at home. I really love my pajamas, jazz music, and burning a candle every night. I have been asked for some of my favorite candles. I enjoy diptyque and nest candles the best. I have a few too many at home and choose which scent depending on my mood.
This post does include some affiliate links which help in my coffee and croissant research. Merci!
I would love to know what you have been up to. Am I the only one hibernating for the Winter already? I head to Florida for Thanksgiving so I am really looking forward to warm weather.
