Links I Love Week 23
This week, I took some much needed time off. After a rained out art show and the 10 year anniversary of me losing my job, I couldn’t think of a better time to take a break. I am terrible at taking time off! Most days are spent in front of my computer until past 10 pm. You wouldn’t know it but A LOT goes into writing a blog. More than I ever thought when I decided to start this baby.
I got a much needed mani/pedi with a new color (flashed) by essie, I took myself to lunch in the park and I continued to read “The Lost Vintage” by Ann Mah which comes out this week. I was invited to the opening party of the Peninsula rooftop bar called Z Bar and invited my friend Jennifer to come along with me. I wore this dress which was perfect for the occasion. I can’t wait to go back again. Z Bar officially opens up on Monday in Chicago

I have not had a job interview since 2007 but, my French teacher Caroline is interviewing for a job. I give her so much credit for interviewing for a job that isn’t her Native language. I reached out to my friend Lisa who was full of information. Hopefully this helps some of you too!
This dress that I own and love is on sale for $40. Snag it while you can. I picked up the pink one.
One my day off I got a manicure/pedicure which was much needed. I chose the color “flashed” for both hands and toes and I LOVE it. It is a bit brighter than my normal red but fun for Summer.
The Champs-Elysées To Be Turned Into An Open Air Movie Theater For One Night
Now that my Summer show is out of the way, I want to do a few things around the apartment. I have a painter coming at the end of the month and I want to switch out my coffee table. I have the terrace coffee table from West Elm but it looks too cluttered. I am leaning towards this marble one from CB2. Thoughts? I will need a bookshelf too! Perhaps this one?
Are these bags over done? I love the look of them for Summer.
