Links I Love Week 22
As you are reading this over your Sunday coffee, I will be at The Wells Street Art Festival. I collect the articles throughout the week and try to finish by the weekend. This week has been stressful as I have been prepping for my ONLY Summer show. When I first started my business, I did a show a weekend. Sometimes they were markets in the suburbs and other weekends they were bigger festivals. I lost my Summers with friends when I was younger and as the business grew I did less and less. Wells Street has always been my favorite because it is supporting my neighborhood and I get to see so many familiar faces. I love seeing returning customers year after year and catching up. It is so great to connect with local readers and customers. I will be in booth 221 (rain or shine) For point of reference it is 1311 N Wells. If you are not in Chicago, please send good vibes my way. This is how I support my Paris fund to return back to my favorite city.
If you want to support me from afar, you can shop The Print Shop here.
Over the weekend, these few items will be put to good use. Do you have a rainy day uniform?
Pink rain jacket, jeans, sweater, and blondo slides for the win.

If you were a fan of Sex and The City, this week is the 20th anniversary of the show’s debut. This is a fun article of what Carrie’s apartment would look like now.
This week will be the 10 year anniversary of me loosing my job. This post is still very much relevant and I would write it almost the same today. I will be sharing a lot more this week that I haven’t shared before. I have a few fun personal things planned for the day. (I am taking the day OFF!) I am finishing up with a party at a new rooftop in Chicago. I bought this dress last month and I am so happy I have a place to wear it. Now I just need to find shoes.
This week we lost both Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain to suicide. I recently listened to this NPR Episode with Kate Spade and learned so much more about her story. You can listen to it here.
