Speaking of Dorie Greenspan, this week she was in Chicago at Read it and Eat and I had the opportunity to hear her speak and meet her. Her “World Peace Cookies” are a family staple. I can’t begin to tell you what it meant to meet her and SHE KNOWS THE BLOG! We took a photo together which is blurry and she asked, “Is it good enough for the blog?” I didn’t want to hold the line up because I am sure everyone else was equally excited to meet her.
She told me, “If I knew I was going to meet you, I would have worn lipstick.” Everyday Dorie meets Everyday Parisian.
Her new book “Everyday Dorie” is out in stores now. I bought a copy for my Aunt and had her sign it as a surprise.
Don’t miss this map from La Cuisine of the Oldest Bars and Bistros in Paris. Bookmarking this for my next trip. How many have you visited?
By now you all may know, I have a thing for JCrew. I was so thrilled to see they shared an image of me on their Instagram wearing their trench coat. I made goals way before the blog came about and this was one of them!
If you haven’t watched “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” you are missing out! I laughed out loud on the plane and I can’t wait for Season 2 starting in December!
