Speaking of Dorie Greenspan, this week she was in Chicago at Read it and Eat and I had the opportunity to hear her speak and meet her. Her “World Peace Cookies” are a family staple. I can’t begin to tell you what it meant to meet her and SHE KNOWS THE BLOG! We took a photo together which is blurry and she asked, “Is it good enough for the blog?” I didn’t want to hold the line up because I am sure everyone else was equally excited to meet her.
Do you think she will invite me to dinner in Paris now that we are friends? 😉
She told me, “If I knew I was going to meet you, I would have worn lipstick.” Everyday Dorie meets Everyday Parisian.
Her new book “Everyday Dorie” is out in stores now. I bought a copy for my Aunt and had her sign it as a surprise.

By now you all may know, I have a thing for JCrew. I was so thrilled to see they shared an image of me on their Instagram wearing their trench coat. I made goals way before the blog came about and this was one of them!
