My Kitchen Staples

A look into what is in my pantry and fridge.

I spent many years with a bare fridge with just a few items to get by. I traveled the world and would grocery shop almost daily picking up what I needed for that day or the weekend. Now that I am home 100% of the time, my whole strategy for groceries and food has changed. My love language is a well-stocked fridge with fruits and vegetables. I order out maybe once a week for Mediterranean or sushi. I cook every other meal at home and I love it. You can always see my recipe list here if you are looking for inspiration on what to cook.

  1. As usual, your “favorites” are very much in sync with mine. I didn’t mind eating every meal in my kitchen at the beginning of”home arrest”, but now can’t wait to get out. Tonight we’re going to En Passat, new on Diversey and byob until he gets license.
My pantry, which I insisted be oversized was what really mattered the last year. I have always liked shopping in bulk and most things have done well. No spoilage.
I am going to make your chips. Already do a spicy salsa.
And I’m probably going for some of the really cute espadrilles.
Green Acres, my favorite vender, has apparently retired. If you’ve been to a Paul Kahan restaurant, you’ve had their stuff.
Thanks for all the Paris info. I love it.

    • Hi Patti!

Please keep me posted on the new spot on Diversey. I would love to know how it is.

Bulk shopping is something I have mastered this year and I have a backup of all my favorite things just in case.
