The French Girl Summer Shoe

If you are looking for a fun and inexpensive way to update your Summer wardrobe, look no further than the espadrille. You can go for a fun bright color or different heal height. I have bought a new pair this Summer. Everlane sent me these adorable ones this year and I have my eye on these from Sézane. Last years were a purchase from Nordstrom that I still love. They are great to wear with shorts, dresses, or skirts and you can wear them all Summer long.

Everlane also has a version that does not include the tie which comes in a variety of neutral colors.

I bought these from J Crew two years ago and I still wear them. They are the espadrille without the tie. You can do either style and if heels aren’t part of your wardrobe, you can always get a lower flat heel.

I was inspired by one of my French friends in Paris to buy these two years ago as well. I wore them all Summer long. They are comfortable enough to walk in to dinner or hang out on the patio.
