Rosé Iced Cubes

I had the idea to try a rosé ice cube after making iced coffee. If you don’t want to dilute your iced coffee, you can use iced cubes made with leftover coffee. When I was opening the freezer, the idea came to me. I bought these square ice cube trays. To make the ice cubes a little more fun, I added fresh fruit from the local farmer’s market.

The wine needs to freeze overnight in the freezer. It takes a while for the cubes to form and they won’t be completely solid like water since it is alcohol. They will hold enough to transfer into your glass. Add cold rosé to your glass and serve. You will be surprised how much colder your rosé glass is with the addition of these fun wine cubes. This also helps not dilute the wine with the addition of traditional water ice cubes.

  1. Hi Rebecca. I’ve been following you for about 6 months and just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your blog/newsletter. I came upon you when Oliver Gee interviewed you on one of his podcasts and I looked you up. You have lovely photos of Paris and now parts of Italy. I am 68 and my husband and I have been traveling back and forth to Paris since 1978, the year after we got married. Paris and all of France is our favorite place to visit, so I thank you for sharing your thoughts and photos as we are miss traveling and cannot wait to go back in early 2022.
