Roasted Lemons and Olives

Transport yourself to Provence this Friday afternoon with a glass of rosé and roasted lemons and olives. If you didn’t know it, olives rank high on my list of favorite foods. In Italy, I drank Negronis/Capri Soda with a side of olives daily. In Paris, at Chez Janou you can drink Rosé and eat olives tossed in herbs de Provence.

I found this simple recipe from the cookbook À Table. To support the author of the cookbook you can buy the book here. This book was a gift from my neighbors. I also made the Apricot Crumble which was delicious. If you are looking for a new cookbook or a gift for a Francophile, this is a great cookbook.

I bought both of the green and kalamata olives at my local Trader Joe’s. Since olives are a staple at home, these were already in my pantry.

The plate was an old purchase from Pottery Barn years ago. This plate is similar.

If you are not interested in purchasing the book and would like a similar recipe for free, you can check out this recipe.
