Easy Granola Recipe
I have been making my own granola for years. I made it for my sister a while back and she was hooked. She made the recipe in cute jars for everyone and anyone she could think of to give a gift. It is addicting and so easy to make. Add your own variations to what you like best, you can do chocolate chips or dried fruit. With or without nuts. I do a combination of walnuts, almonds, and coconut.
This recipe is a combination of gluten free oats (you can use regular) olive oil, honey, salt, cinnamon, coconut, and nuts. You can find the recipe here.
Mix the dry ingredients and then add the wet ingredients together with a spatula. Get all the oats fully covered.
Put everything in an even layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 350 degrees until golden brown. This happens quickly so I check on it halfway through. Pat it down with a spatula to get it nice and crispy and chunky.
Let the granola sit for as long as possible. I know it is hard not to want to go in a grab a taste. The longer it sits together the chunkier it will be.
