A Walk on The Left Bank
Last month, I took a walk on the Left Bank with Corey Frye. You can see the whole video here. I am typically a right bank girl so I was a little out of my comfort zone. It was great to have someone to show me around with a little more on the history of Paris. We started at Treize bakery who is known for having the best carrot cake in town, sadly they were closed. I still haven’t tried it but, I have heard great things.
We made our way to one of the oldest chocolate shops in Paris, Debauve and Gallais. I picked up a dark chocolate bar with almonds for 7.50 euros.
We made our way to Place de Fustenberg which is an adorable square tucked away in the 6th arrondisement.
We stopped by the hotel that Hemingway first stayed with Hadley when they arrived in Paris.
We explored a hidden courtyard.
We finished at the Delacroix Muesuem before heading to a café on rue de buci. You can watch our café chat here.
There were so many questions at the café chat about what shoes I wear (they are waterproof) and the bag I carry. You can get all the details here! These items are ones that I swear by after many trips to Paris.
This post does include affiliate links which helps contribute to my coffee and croissant research. Merci!
I loved walking with you through Luxembourg Gardens following the seasons !. What a gift to relax with after days of Booster immune responses.. so sick and getting well now! Thank you!!
Thank you, Amy! Way to go on getting the booster. I hope you feel better soon. xo
Yep. This is the one.😁❤️🥰😁❤️🥰
So cool to see these photos—since I ‘met’ you by watching Corey Frye’s live video tour that day. I remember these sights–but your perspective through your photos is entirely different (of course). I hope you get to join Corey for another tour on a future visit to Paris!
Thank you so much for joining us Christine. If Corey will have me back, I would love to do another tour!
Another excellent photo journey, Rebecca. You have a true gift. I’m so happy that you captured the staircase in that lovely little courtyard; it may be my next purchase. Having you on the Facebook Live Walking Tour with Corey was a treat! You brought a sweet joviality to the tour. I look forward to walking in your footsteps when I finally get to Paris.
Thank you so much, Missy! It was so much fun walking with Corey and being able to meet you all virtually. I hope you have the best trip to Paris. Hopefully our paths will cross paths one of these times! xo

Enjoyed the live walk when it happened! Thank you for these wonderful pictures Rebecca so that we can relive the greatness! So beautiful! 🙂
