Links I Love Week 5

Photos of me by Katie Donnelly Photography

Happy Sunday! It’s National Croissant Day, the perfect excuse to grab a coffee and croissant and enjoy this week’s links. If you are looking for my favorite croissant in Paris, you can check out this post. Most of the US was covered in snow or experienced cold temperatures. I hope you stayed warm and dry this weekend.

I was able to finish “Malibu Rising” and I now am starting “The Wine Maker’s Wife” You can see a few of the past books I have read lately here.

I am working on my video skills as one of my goals this year. I created a little video for my roast chicken dinner. You can find the recipe here.

I have very dry skin and at night I have been using this oil which my skin drinks up and a face mask a few times a week. I have been loving this mask and this mask

I extended my blowout by a whole week thanks to my dry shampoo. It’s a game-changer. If you don’t own one, I highly recommend this one from Klorane

French fashion brand Sézane is under fire for a photoshoot taking place in Mexico. I haven’t had any more information to share since the story came out two weeks ago. It wouldn’t be right if I didn’t share this. They have since made a public apology here.

I swear by my Yeti to keep my coffee warm all morning long. This pink color is my go-to!

The MVPs of the week are these sleep gummies and these hand warmers. Chicago has been so cold and Henri needs walks regardless of the weather. He loves the snow and it helps get his energy out.

I am crushing on this IKEA cabinet update. I would totally do this for our kitchen as we need extra space for coats.

A heads up, my favorite Madewell sneakers are back in stock in many sizes and they are on SALE! They are perfect for spring/summer/fall walking around Paris.

The best bread in every state. Now I have to hunt for the Illinois and Ohio bread to taste test.

Curious about dry brushing? I am intrigued. I am planning on ordering a brush to try this process and see how it goes.

I love a good Paris map. We have a very large one hanging in our home. This is an affordable framed version of what we have.

My favorite soft clothes to grab are my Lou and Grey sweats. Currently 40% off. I have gifted these to my sister and she loves them too. You need to combo so don’t forget the pants. They run true to size. I have a size small.

  1. Nothing better than fresh baked croissants! Thank you, Rebecca, for the Natl. Croissant Day reminder. I’m not a home shopping channel person, but I discovered wonderful frozen croissants (imported & made in France, with good French butter & flour) on QVC. The brand name is Authentic Gourmet. They are so very good & go directly from freezer to oven, bake for 28 – 30 mins. I’ve been ordering them for a few years now & always have some in my freezer. I think they are better than the Trader Joe’s mini croissant, which are made in Belgium & are quite good. I think the butter & flour make the difference in the Authentic Gourmet croissants. Also, thanks for all the great links you posted … made for a very enjoyable Sunday!
