Links I Love Week 50
The year is starting to slow down a bit. Friday was the last day to get orders in for The Print Shop and I was in bed at 9 pm with Henri watching Firefly Lane. I am looking forward to getting some rest, spending time with family, and baking cookies. We also have a very exciting upcoming wedding later this month.
Thank you so much to everyone that entered the 10 days of giveaways. It has been so much fun to surprise readers with some of my favorite things. You can see the updated winners in this post. I do have a surprise last item. One lucky reader will win my favorite Staub pieces! If you are already entered, you don’t need to do anything else. I will email the winner tomorrow evening.

Re the Kate Winslet interview in the “Why your 40s are your sexiest, most powerful decade” link: If you, too, are among KW devotées, you will love “A Little Chaos, ” a gem of a movie starring Kate, Mattias Schoenarts, and Alan Rickman, and directed by Rickman. KW is, and portrays, woman in full bloom — strong, passionate, creative; forging a path in a man’s world while hiding a heart brimming with loss. The movie is a love letter to women in their 40s, as well as great story.
I agree with you about the phones being fully available on planes. Can you imagine people talking on their phones eight hours next to you, trying to sleep or enjoy your movie with the constant tin of people talking?! OMG please NO! I can see having access to an emergency code to call in case of hijackings or being able to use social media. But talking? Goodness I sure hope not!
