Links I Love Week 19: Year 2026

Happy Mother’s Day! This holiday is a joyous occasion for some and a challenging holiday for others. Give yourself grace if you are struggling, sending love to all of you this Sunday.
I plan on snuggling a little longer with Henri in our bed before a long Sunday walk. Henri made me a mom five years ago, and he has taught me so much. I continue to learn from him so much about patience, unconditional love, and finding joy in everything.

At home, we started a construction project overhead that has caused some noise and a crazy amount of dust. It will all be worth it in the end; we just need to be patient. This will lead to our primary bathroom getting some patches and a paint job. We plan to renovate it later this year, so the paint will just be temporary. My husband says bright white for the temporary fix; I may want to try a fun color we wouldn’t normally do.

P.S. Before we jump into Links this week, I hope you will love and appreciate the slightly larger font on the site. My team made this change seamlessly for me this week. I noticed that the font was smaller, or maybe it was my aging eyes, but I thought this was a simple improvement that you would enjoy. Thank you so much for being here each week. xo

For Mother’s Day, I am so excited to upgrade my mom’s mattress. This was a conversation between my sister and me, and I can’t wait to give my mom the gift of sleep. Helix is our preferred mattress, and I am having her take the sleep quiz (it only takes 60 seconds), but I am pushing her towards the organic one that we have. MEMDAY25 gets you 25% off.
