Links I Love Week 15

Left Bank Paris morning

It has been a lovely weekend at home. We visited the farmers market and enjoyed a long walk downtown with Henri. We had an event on Saturday night, and I wore this adorable jumper with heels. My husband and I snuck away early for a late dinner at the bar at one of our favorite spots in the city.

For those headed to the Olympics in Paris this summer, I highly recommend downloading app CityMapper to help with directions. They will have specific route plans around the games and events, which will be very helpful.

People have conflicting views, but banana bags are all the rage in France. I bought this one last October.  Now that it is warmer in Chicago, I am always using it for walks with Henri.

This Pilates SNL skit had me laughing so hard. You might also find this funny if you have ever been to a reformer class. Someone sent this to me on Instagram and I missed it. (sorry!)

These Sisley eye-shadows are so easy. I love the Topaz color. Their eyeliner is also the only one I use. It is easy to put on, and a sharpener is tucked into the bottom like an eraser on a pencil. Gamechanger!

In Paris, I did a fun pastry crawl with Jane of La Cuisine. She took me to three great pastry shops in the Marais. You can see it all here in a quick video. Take notes and save this post for your next trip!

Michelin awarded the best hotels in France with a key this week. Some of my favorite hotels, including Chateau Voltaire and Grand Hotel du Palais Royal, were honored.

This week’s best sellers include, The French Ingredient (EDP Book Club of the month), a great pair of sneakers from Madewell, the hat I have been wearing on repeat and more.

Afar did an interesting comparison of 5 hotels in Paris at different prices. It is a bit long, and you may want to fast-forward, but it is worth watching if you are curious about what your money gets you.
