My thoughts on visiting Paris this year.
Yes! I am planning on a trip in the Fall and I will share more details once I have them. Fall will be a hot time to visit Paris so if you are interested, I would book now. I had plans to visit Italy in the Summer and they haven’t been canceled but I don’t know if I am 100% going based on virus rates and Italy’s plans on reopening. I am not going to be on the first plane out and I felt that since day one. As long as there are no more extreme variants and virus rates continue to decline, I plan on visiting Paris this year. I can’t wait to get back!
You have to do what you feel comfortable with. Paris will always be there, it will be a rough start as a lot of businesses closed over the last year and a half. Keep that in mind that it may not be the same Paris you saw on your last visit.

Would I mind sharing thoughts on the Margaux flats?
Yes, of course! I love mine and I wrote a blog post about them here.
Can you share the links to your necklaces? Love a good stack
I have been getting a lot of questions about my everyday necklaces. I bought one as a gift to myself and the other two were gifts. Also, I slowly added to the collection and now there are three. They are all different lengths and it just works out really well the way they lay. They do get tangled from time to time but it’s usually a quick fix.
Are you married?
The short answer is no. If I was married, I don’t think I would share that.
As my following grows, I have become more and more guarded about the people in my life which is mostly my family. I know that this means I make less money when it comes to brands and partnerships. Didn’t really know what I was getting myself into when I started the blog and I have a larger digital footprint than most people. I have a little more control when I don’t share everything. Also, I know people would love a house tour too but that falls in the same category of privacy.
Will I ever move closer to be by your mom and sister?
I wish! I miss my niece and nephew and whole family sooo much! They are more suburban people and I am a city girl. I think when I get older, it will be something I will consider more. I told my sister I plan on living with her and my brother-in-law when I am older and we retire together.
If you weren’t doing what you do today, what would your career be?
I worked in the fashion/shoe world when I graduated from Indiana. Honestly, I never thought I would be writing a blog, traveling to Paris, and living my dream as a travel photographer. I think at some point my career would have evolved after 15 years but I don’t know what I would be doing. I can’t imagine doing anything else right now. Also, I love traveling and I love that I have been able to work on the blog, write and connect with readers with more time at home.
Where did you find Henri?
Henri is from Northstar Bulldogs and Bernedoodles. I had a friend help find the breeder for me. Henri is the best dog and the breeder will have more puppies this Summer. You can contact her directly to inquire.
What kind of mix is Henri?
Henri is a mini poodle mix (20 lbs) and a 50 lbs Bernedoodle. He is expected to be about 40 pounds full grown.
Do you like the Trader Joe’s Lavender Dryer bags?
Yes! I love them. They are included in my French Finds at Trader Joe’s post.
Do you use any French cleaning products?
I don’t use any French cleaning products for the home. Personally, I haven’t found any that are inexpensive and something that I love. I do really enjoy a clean home and I try to use as many natural products as possible especially after bringing Henri home.
I got asked to link the shirt I was wearing earlier which is a Saint James J.Crew shirt.
Hi Rebecca,
I am going to Paris for 2 weeks in May. I stayed at a charming boutique hotel on Rue Cler a few years ago. Love that area. I am considering renting an apartment this trip. Would love your thoughts and experience with hotel vs short term apartment. Thanks so much!
Bonjour❤️I am a nyc’er living my best life in Paris. I have been wanting to buy a decent camera but not break the bank. What do you suggest? Around 700$ would be idea. Merci
