Links I Love Week 20

Shop Coffee and Peonies Print Here

This week feels like one big blur. After working hard for the last month, THE NEW PRINT SHOP is finally here. 🥳 I am so happy with the way it came out. The site looks and feels like an extension of the blog. I finally combined the two brands to become one. I can’t wait to hear what you think. I recorded a podcast with Dinner for One, we made this delicious sweet potato quiche together.

I am slowly making plans for Paris in October. I will talk more about that once things are finalized. Paris has exciting plans to slowly open up and to welcome Americans starting June 9th. Henri and I got caught in the rain on the way to puppy class and ended up taking a nice afternoon nap. It’s still warming up and I finally bought a few dresses in anticipation of warmer weather ahead. I have plans to visit my Dad for Memorial Day weekend and it will be good to be home to see friends and family.

Grab your coffee and croissants and join me for this week’s links. It’s a fun week of favorite links.

The Skinny Jean is Dead. Here are the 5 Styles You Need to Know. I had a discussion about this with my sister over the weekend. I bought straight jeans from JCrew and they feel so foreign on the fit that I am afraid to wear them out of the house. After reading the reviews, it makes more sense. They do run a little big so I would size down one size.

I want to smell like the South of France

Here is an insider tip for Caudalie. They currently are running a Friends and Family sale of up to 50%. They recently redid a lot of their packaging and updated some of their formulas so they are using the sale to clear inventory. It’s a great time to stock up. I bought this cream and this brightening treatment. I also was able to snag this night cream as a bonus with points I have accumulated from shopping with Caudalie.

The void that dogs leave behind. This one had me in tears and Henri has only been with me for 6 months. I know the pain of the loss of a dog.

He Delivered For Me. (NYT) My UPS man was a big part of my daily life in 2020 and this struck a chord. I haven’t seen him all of 2021 and I miss him. He knew about Henri’s arrival and I thought they would really love each other.

Staub is on sale! I don’t know how long it will last. I love my Staub pan and it’s a great kitchen staple that can be used for so many meals including cooking proteins. This is the video that convinced me to buy one. If I am not putting chicken on the grill, I am cooking it in my Staub.

This halloumi salad looks incredible.

  1. I enjoy your weekly links. While I do welcome new jean styles because I love a flattering wide-leg look or flares, I will still keep my skinny jeans in the mix! I like the boyfriend jean but there are some styles out there right now that are just too big and baggy for my test and don’t feel flattering and comfortable on me. I need both!

  2. Going to spend my day reading these! . Not giving up my skinny jeans yet though, and real life issues Of how to handle friendships post covid.
