Links I Love Week 8: Year 2025
This weekend, we have a fundraiser, and I popped into Spoke and Weal for a blowout and bang trim from Amanda. My grandma used to get her hair done every Saturday, and I think she was onto something. It makes life so much easier to feel pulled together. My husband and I had a date night Friday night and plan to cook Sunday evening. I have just a few more episodes of Younger, and I am dragging them out as much as possible. I don’t want it to end, and we don’t have much on the list for new shows.
I have had a few exciting book meetings this week and can’t wait to share more details soon.
Grab your coffee and croissants, and join me for this week’s links I love.

Mel Robbins plagiarized the let them theory. The information is everywhere on the Internet. I find it irresponsible that blogs are promoting Mel Robbins as the founder of this theory. Please look into the facts around this and promote the person that actually is behind the theory. This is another case of people just jump, jumping onto the same trend without questioning the background of it.
Hi Dana,
I had no idea. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. The first I had heard of the theory was during my dinner this week with a friend.
I recognize that (untitled) breakfast tray: Caron de Beaumarchais.
Great comments today, but I’m worried that due to the current political situation, the dollar may start to sink due to tariffs and comments made by Trump.
We are going back to Paris in May and are also starting to worry about the political climate and hope that nothing happens while we’re gone.
My friends in Paris are very concerned.
