Links I Love Week 26 Year 2024
This week, my sister and nephew visited Chicago. It was a short but sweet trip. My nephew is at such a fun age and loves playing with Henri! We visited the Farmers Market, playgrounds in the neighborhood, and the theater to see Inside Out 2. He is reading well and is just the happiest, sweetest boy. I loved having him visit, and he has already requested to come back again soon because this trip was one day too short.

Avène Friends and Family is here. The brand has not done as many sales this year as in the past and it is worth stocking up with the 25% off. I have this sunscreen in my bag for walks with Henri, and it goes on so easily. (I reapply it!) Their Cicalfate is one of my favorite products, and you will be surprised by how often you reach for this cream. The Avène thermal water spray is their most popular item, and it has a cult following for a reason. The Nordstrom Sale preview is out now. While I felt this sale had lost its luster, I did spot some great deals, especially in the home department. These Staub dishes, Dyson vacuum (if it is time to invest in a new one) I also have my eye on a Barbor coat for fall. I will add all my favorites to this collection as I continue through the sale.

No more puppy! Henri grew up. So surprising to see his long legs. You must be enjoying today’s NYT article, “The Science of Pets.”
Thank you for Everyday Parisian. It’s a Sunday morning guilty pleasure.
Hi Debra,
No more puppy! Henri is full grown and about 50lbs. He is so full of love and still has that puppy energy! He does have some long legs and is the perfect height to sit under the fridge door for cheese tax. 😉
Than you for your sweet words! I can’t wait to continue the tradition of Sunday links.
Links I Love and good coffee make the best possible start to a Sunday. Today I particularly enjoyed “How to Stock a French Pantry.”
Hi Kathy! Thank you so much for your comment and I am very happy you enjoy Sunday links. It is a joy to do each week. xo
I LOVE Emily Henry! I’ve been a fan of hers since her 2017 release of A Million Junes. I would not say I’m a romance genre fan in general but she writes such smart, whitty characters and I can’t get enough. Highly recommend her latest, Funny Story.
Thanks, Jess! I will add it to be read pile for summer reading. xo
