Links I Love Week 49

Café St Regis Paris

I woke up Saturday morning and reflected on the week. Was Cyber Monday this Monday?? How can that be? It felt so long ago. This week has been crazy with work and personal life. The printed Paris Guide arrived at my doorstep, and I worked hard to get orders out as quickly as possible. So many of you have been waiting patiently for it. I am very grateful for all your support with my small business.

Along with work, I had a possible standby jury duty summons (a big hurdle) that needed to be cleared before I could think about Paris next week. I made getting orders from The Print Shop a top priority, working hard day and night. Thankfully, I called Friday afternoon and will not be needed on Monday. This is a big relief for now, and I can focus on the week ahead and prepare for my upcoming trip.

I had a week of appointments I scheduled in advance months or even a year ago that fell back to back. Thanksgiving fell a week later than usual due to the calendar, and I didn’t consider that when I booked everything. On top of work, I was at the dentist for a cleaning and my yearly mammogram. When I was chatting with the woman who did my mammogram, she mentioned that it was a form of self-care. I loved that perspective and hope you take this as a reminder to book your appointment. Mine is already booked for next year.

I make my family holiday cookies every year and send them out in these adorable tins. They are $5 from Target, which makes them easy to ship. I still have a few left over from last year and need a few more. I love this tradition and can’t wait to make them again this year.

holiday festive outfits

We have a few holiday parties this weekend, and I needed something festive. I pulled together a holiday outfit inspiration post on the blog. Plus, I am wearing the one piece I loved last year again!

Frame collaborated with The Ritz Paris. I expect these pieces to move quickly!

If you are still looking for the perfect gift for a Francophile gift, The Holiday Bundle is now available. Get The Paris Guide printed, A Year in Paris 2025 calendar, notecards (holiday or Paris assorted), and the new EDP tote—a $130 value for $100. These are limited in quantity!

Kate Winslet was on 60 Minutes this past weekend, and I loved her segment. It was inspiring, and I had no idea how much she put into character development.

During Pilates this week, my instructor raved about this Clarins mask. We talked about being tired on a Saturday morning, and she swears by it. I plan to pick it up in Paris, but you can grab it here at Nordstrom or Macy’s. Both places offer it on sale.

A few other sale favorites from Macy’s include this Kitchenaid mixer (so many of you mentioned this would be your December purchase!) For him, this quarter zip Ralph Lauren sweater. My husband and I spent a few hours on Saturday trying to find one for a gift, and everyone was sold out!

This suede mini bag is under $100 and so cute! It comes in a lot of great colors. I picked it up in green, and it is better than I thought it would be. It makes a great gift!

There is a Sézane Gift Guide up! I pulled together all my favorites in this blog post, including the bracelets I have been collecting this year.

I partnered with Saks this week to share my top picks for their Friends and Family Sale, running through 12/9. I have my eye on these sunglasses!

I recently discovered the brand Soeur and can’t wait to check it out in Paris when I am there this week. There are a few locations!

The article that made me cry this week, you need to see Dick Van Dyke dance in Coldplay’s newest video. I just love him!

This week’s best sellers include two great winter boots, a short and tall pair, holiday pieces from Tuckernuck, and a sparkle skirt from J.Crew.

I also bought this dual-device charging tray. It has been on my list for a while and is much prettier than my husband’s Amazon piece on my nightstand. I have my Airpods, phone, lip balm, and hand lotion here.

  1. “How did we get here?” Liberal politics cannot exist forever. Note the USA. Read Douglas Murray’s book, The Death of Europe. France will live and thrive.
