Henri and I had a lovely staycation at the Park Hyatt this week. It was an unexpected and fun little adventure downtown to enjoy the hotel and Michigan Ave. Henri had a blast exploring the dog-friendly hotel and he watched the cars from the window in between naps.

I stopped by POSH while I was downtown one of my favorite small businesses to support. I was thrilled when Karl asked to carry the Paris and Italy calendars in his store. I dropped by a few dozen to make it easy for Chicago locals and visitors to pick them up in person this holiday season.

While I was in the store, I picked up a few gifts for friends and I was surprised to see they have the Mariage Frères advent calendar. I can’t wait to enjoy this all December long.

Sarah Jessica Parker talks to Vogue about her grand return. It’s a long read but I really enjoyed hearing more about the process of shooting and the new changes to the show.

This sweater was one of the most asked about items from readers this week. I ordered the XS but could have easily sized up to a small. It is supposed to be a bit oversized. I have worn it on repeat.

I ordered a few bottles of white from SomMailier to have in the house for the holidays. I tried their C’est La Vie White set of 3. It makes a great gift for a Francophile wine lover.
