Links I Love Week 30
This week has been a crazy start to August. We have been trying to paint the interior of our home for months, but it didn’t happen until this week. It caught us scrambling to decide on paint colors. You can follow along on Instagram for behind-the-scenes. We are painting our bedroom too!
While the process has been stressful, and the house feels jumbled, I know it will all come into place in a few weeks! We donated some furniture this week and brought some new pieces in, including this coffee table and console. When was the last time you placed an order for in-stock furniture?!
Once things get back into place, the front room is almost complete, and I ordered a lamp for the back corner. You can see the style we are going for below.

Dermstore is having a sale coming up this week. Start adding your favorite brands to your cart for 20% off! I will share more favorites from the sale this week, so keep an eye on your inbox. I love this sunscreen so much that I have it on an automatic shipment to ensure I never run out.
Paris booksellers are angry at plans to hide their stalls during the Olympics. This is a 400-year-old tradition and part of the city’s charm.
Best sellers this week include this Breton striped shirt and these Madewell shoes. See the full top 5 here.

I recently added more yoga and pilates into my workout routine. My favorite mat is one I ordered years ago. It was an investment back when I bought it and has been well worth it since I have owned it and used it for many years, and it has held up well. When considering a mat, you want it to be sturdy enough to support your knees and wrists. I wipe mine down when finished and use a strap to carry it. It’s heavy, which is my only complaint.
This is the dog bed Henri has but in the circle version. We want to buy him a second one but change to the rectangle to save some space. He loves it so much! His original circle bed will move to another space in the house until he gets used to the new bed.

Hello Rebecca — I’ve been following your blog for several years, and do love your Sunday links….but I’ve really noticed that your emphasis is increasingly on things to buy. I realize that this is in part how you earn a living, but I do think over-consumption is contributing to our global issues with the environment; and I miss your links to thoughtful pieces. Just wanted to point out that I’ve noticed a change….
Hi Lisa,
Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate you taking the time to write and I will do my best to keep a healthy balance. All items I mention are suggestions and not an emphasis to buy.
