Links I Love Week 21: Year 2025

Café de Flore in black and white

Bonjour and happy long weekend to you! I must admit that I struggled with sleep this week and quieting my mind. This means I was awake in the middle of the night and did a lot of reading. You get the benefits as this week’s links I love are filled with some great articles to last you into Monday.

Paris Every Day was sent off to the printers. Thank you so much for all your pre-sale orders! If you did not get your order in, you can still do that with my publishers and will receive your book on pub day on October 14. My husband is the only person outside of Hoffman Media who has read it from start to finish; his review is, “It is inspirational. People are going to be inspired by your story.” So while you think you are just getting a coffee table, it is much more. I am incredibly proud of what we did together as a team.

We are spending the weekend in Chicago, and I am looking forward to some downtime at home. You can read more about our weekend here on Substack.

Grab your coffee and croissants, and join me for links I love.

How Taylor Jenkins Reid became a publishing powerhouse via Time Think Daisy Jones and The Six. Her new book, Atmosphere, comes out June 3. I have it preordered. I usually list links I love as I find them, which are listed randomly in this roundup. Some of the strongest and, in my opinion, best, are at the top this week.

How to make friendships last your whole life via The Atlantic. I am grateful for the strong friendships in my life, which span different chapters. ” A well-maintained friendship is a long-lasting one, and a long-lasting friendship can document life’s many bends. ” After I read this article, I texted it to a few people special in my life.

On the other hand, I read a great article in Harper’s Bazaar about growing out of a friendship. Female friendships can be tough, and there are different seasons for them.

Beach Reads and Bubbly share their Summer Reading List. All that is required is reading for pleasure. She breaks it up into genres, and I found a new book to add to my Kindle in the Historical Fiction category.

How to wear foulards (small French scarves) this spring and summer.

M.Gemi launched the sandal collection. I own these and now have my eye on these sandals. Usually, I am an 8.5, but with this brand, I would size up one .5 size. They gave a code for 15% off using REBECCA15 at checkout.

One type of mammogram proves better for women with dense breasts. A reminder to schedule your mammogram and talk with your doctor.

I always recommend ensuring your bras are relatively new and the correct size. Eby is a new favorite brand, and they do not have underwire. They made their Memorial Day sale even better with up to 40% off from their original 25 % off. Their relief bra is a favorite. Plus, they have various sizes for all types of women.

If you are going to a wedding this summer, wear this dress. It is navy and beautiful lilac.

Loving the polka dot trend and this dress.

This is one of my favorite posts to write after a tripwhat Parisians are wearing now and the spring and summer trends for 2025. I sourced this outfit and other trends I spotted in Paris.

Mocktails cost $15 and nobody knows why. As someone who doesn’t drink often, this kills me. Also, why do they have to be so sugary?

La Ligne x Rue de Verneuil, yes please! The green tote. I have a thing for green these days.

I shared the May edition of The Paris Edit on Substack. So many of you wrote in about your favorite places to eat in Paris. Take notes from community members for your next trip. Jennifer S won a copy of The Eater Guide to Paris

I have been seeing the trend of sarongs in all colors as summer beach and pool accessories, and I am here for it.

The best sales to shop this Memorial Day weekend. I picked up a few things from J.Crew and Madewell. (including this scarf, which I bought in multiple colors to see which one I liked more) It would be so fun to add color to a summer outfit.

To achieve daytime beauty, these women look like monsters at night. This also reminds me of the opening scene of Mrs. Maisel season 1.

11 summer trends Vogue editors can’t stop talking about

Bergdorf Goodman now carries Biologique Recherche. This Parisian skincare brand has a cult following. I schedule a facial as often as possible when I am in Paris. The products are cheaper in Paris with the VAT tax, but if you need a restock or simply want to try what all the buzz is about, without the plane ticket. The P50 lotion is the hot item I use before bed, along with this mask, for dry skin.

These Caterpillar Cookies are too cute! This summer, get the recipe here and make them for your kids/grandkids.

High-protein fast food options when you are in a bind.

A friend recently convinced my husband and me to splurge on the Higher Dose Infrared Sauna. This has become part of my Sunday ritual wind-down routine to attempt to quiet my mind. It is a work in progress. I ordered a second towel so my husband could also use it. They are offering 20% off this weekend for Memorial Day. MDW2025 is the code.

TikTok users are filming their beauty routines on airplanes. Not everyone thinks this is a good idea. What do you think?

  1. Hi Rebecca! I finally purchase my first Sezane piece – the short Pippa Dress in Black. I absolutely love it and it fits me perfectly! Thank-you so much for introducing me to this brand. All of your clothing is absolutely beautiful!

  2. A perfect Sunday morning – enjoying your favorite links, your gorgeous photographs, and a cup of coffee. And I have a question. A girlfriend and I are.planning a trip to Paris. Leaving our husbands at home and making lists of “girl stuff” we want to do. Do you have recommendations for places for us to have facials and spa days AND a place to have our make up done? Merci, Rebecca ❤
