Links I Love Week 22: Year 2025

summer poppy fields in Paris

Happy June! Don’t forget to flip your calendars. It has been a beautiful weekend at home, we squeezed in an extra long coffee walk with Henri and a visit to the Farmers Market. Wells Street Festival is just two weeks away, and the stress is on to prepare. If you are in the city, stop by and say hello. I will have more information on my booth location later. Just save the date for June 14- 15th.

The above photo is from a few years ago in Luxembourg Gardens. On my most recent trip in May, my friend Katie and I walked the garden in search of them, and we just missed them literally by hours, as the gardener had swooped them up. I need to visit a little earlier to catch them next year.

My in-laws recommended “Nonnas” on Netflix, and I loved it. Get ready to shed a few tears. Great cast too, with Vince Vaughn and Susan Sarandon

Glamour shares What to Watch in June. There is a lot to bookmark.

This belted swimsuit is too cute! Not sure how I feel about the white, but it caught my eye.

Obsessed with the Juliska Toujours Amours collection. They just added new pieces, too. These plates would make a great housewarming present or wedding gift for a Francophile.

Nicole Kidman on age, motherhood, and napping. Such a great story via Allure. I cannot believe she is 58.

Chicken Parmesan Meatballs are a staple recipe in our house. I wanted to find a similar recipe using ground chicken. This feta and zucchini one sounds was good I paired it with a couscous salad with mint, parsley, and lemon and a little yogurt sauce for dipping.

I rave about my friends Holly and Gianluca in Capri. Here is a fun article on them. I highly recommend booking a cooking experience with them.

Two ME+EM dresses arrived this week, and I am in love. They are better than I anticipated. This red dress would look better with a belt. (Pockets are a bonus.) Then this dress, OMG, in white, was on my wish list. It comes with a slip and belt, which makes it super flattering. *The brand kindly gifted them to me. I was asked for a discount code by people on Instagram. They don’t offer codes, but there is a discount available for first-time customers.

A breakdown of all the Carrie Bradshaw apartments over the years. My husband watched episode 1 of Season 3 and instantly asked, How can she afford this house?

These mugs would be a perfect addition to the EDP café, also available in espresso size. Don’t miss these Bon Appètit dessert plates, too.

I tried energy balls from a small business in the suburbs over the weekend, and I can’t stop thinking about how good these are. This recipe is similar to what we had, and I am tempted to make it!

How to stop being so hard on yourself

My friend Jessica of An Indigo Day launched a NYC Guide. We are way overdue for a visit to the Big Apple. I spent an afternoon with Jessica in Paris, and she loves to explore off the beaten path. I have no doubt this guide is full of gems to add to your next visit! Save $5 with the code INDIGONYC.

I wrote a special paid post on Where I Ate in Paris. You can become a paid subscriber for $5 a month and find valuable Paris content for your next trip. The Where I Ate in Paris post was a lot of fun to write and shares a classic French Bistro where I chatted with a famous screenwriter, a Lebanese restaurant I can’t stop thinking about, a Crêperie on the Left Bank, and an adorable 12-person pizza spot that transported me to Italy.

I recently fell in love with the products from Salt & Stone after ordering a few scents to try. The Bergamot + Hinoki smells so good, and the Neroli + Basil aluminum-free deodorant is such a clean scent.  Alyssa has some upcoming travel and I sent her some in a beauty care package to try including their hand lotion. REBECCA15 gets you 15% off.

How often you should wash your face from Real Simple. It makes a difference. My night routine is lengthy but worth it. I double cleanse because I am wearing sunscreen daily.

How to plant potted hydrangeas, now is the time. If you have followed me for a while on Instagram, you know this is one of the things that brings me the most joy in summer, especially when we head out east to the Boston area.

wayfair table

I don’t have a green thumb, but I’d like to add a few things to our garden. We recently got this metal table from Wayfair currently on sale for $112. It is a garden staple, our neighbors bought a similar one influenced by us. This umbrella, we have a lot of afternoon sun in the back and we need something additional for shade. Last year, we added a few of these tall planters next to our wooden fence. I think we need one more! Our front planters have seen better days. We need to replace them. These bistro chairs are what I have been searching for! They can be put outside and have UV protection.

This handwoven mini white tote is begging for summer.

We need to talk about perimenopause and eating disorders via Self

Crushing on two Splendid dresses. My sister sent this one to me after I found this colorful long one. So cute!

Elle interviewed Hoda Kotb on her next act. I love her! When I got laid off in my late twenties, I would watch her in the morning. My dream was to be on the Hoda and Kathy Lee show promoting my book. Well, the book dream came true, and I am still working on The Today Show. (Brooke Bell 😉
