Shop Eiffel Tower in Bloom with Magnolias

This week was filled with ups and downs. We had some great spring weather which got Henri and me out and about. The city of Chicago was buzzing. We finally have a wedding venue booked and now we are overwhelmed with other wedding planning decisions. There is a lot happening in the world and it feels heavy.

The Madewell sale ends tomorrow! This has been a reader favorite! So many of you have snatched up my favorite leather jacket at a discount (I own it in a medium). Along with these great sneakers that are perfect for spring/summer. You can see more of my favorites here. I ended up placing two orders.

I added this cleansing powder and serum to my beauty routine to try. They were gifted by the brand when I mentioned I was looking for more anti-aging products. I also started using this Vitamin C oil and wow, I have noticed a difference with the use of all three together. My skin looks a lot brighter.

I finished Mrs. Maisel Season 4 this week while I couldnā€™t sleep. I agree that this was a slow season, but we did do a deep dive into some of the supporting characters. I am totally rooting for Rose and Susie. This article is interesting on the season finale via Vanity Fair.

Starbucks is planning to phase out its iconic cups. A plan to focus on sustainability. I love this after seeing so many cups overflow the trash of our neighborhood Starbucks.

  1. I was kind of surprised to see Le Bouchon on the best 20 French places in US.
We have been there more times than I can count, but the quality has not been the same since the founding chef, the father of the current chef, was sadly killed in a traffic accident.
In tryIng some of the same dishes we had always enjoyed, none were as good.
Still a cute place and we miss the meals we had there before.

  2. The 20 Parisian restaurants article is very timely. I have added a few to my growing list. I hope to try 2-3 of them on my trip to Paris in 13 days. Merci beaucoup.

  3. Love the article on the best French restaurants in the U.S. and I will have to add some of these to my wishlist. Le Diplomate (Le Dip) is one of the best restaurants in DC–delicious food, excellent drink list, amazing desserts, great service, beautiful interior, and fabulous people watching. Chocolate pot de creme=stuff of my dreams!

    • Thank you, Gloria! I am overdue for a visit to DC and I will have to plan a visit to Le Diplomate. I appreciate the tip šŸ™‚ Merci!

    • Thank you so much, Kelly! I look forward to each Sunday to spend them with you! I hope you enjoy this week’s links. ā¤ļø
