Links I Love Week 34: Year 2025

paris in the summer

It has been an exciting and busy week in Chicago. On Friday, good news hit my inbox. Paris Every Day is arriving early! The retail pub date is still October 28, but those of you who placed orders directly with my publisher Hoffman Media, you will receive your order early. I will update you early this week with details when to expect your delivery. There is still time to place your order if you want to receive your order before the pub date in October.

Shoe brand Larroudé is a favorite of mine, and I’m excited to finally wear the Anne boots I have been holding onto for months. Due to the increase in Brazil tariffs, prices will increase after August. The site is 30% off until the end of the month.

Along with the dog theme, this Forbes article was too cute! August is know as dog month or Dogust. Seriously, the photos are just adorable. I am overdue for sharing a roundup of the dog of the day all in one post!

Thank you to everyone who ordered the Paris 2026 calendar. The proofs were approved, and my printer is in the process of packing them up to ship. They should arrive with me by the end of this week, and we will start shipping to you. Once they are sold out, I won’t be placing another order for the season. The larger calendar is very popular, and I’ve already sold half of my inventory. If you’re interested in one, I would order it ASAP. I know calendar season feels early, but the year is flying by.

I upgraded my MacBook for travel this week and got a larger screen. It is so much easier to work on! I am not sure how the weight will compare when I travel, but for now, I am enjoying it. Once I set it up, I added a new desktop background. This inspired me to create this freebie. If you are looking for a new fall Paris background for your computer, you can download these.

Last week, I mentioned the protein powder we use for smoothies. My husband has made a big dent in the vanilla. I have to place another order. They added a code for readers REBECCA15 gets you 15% off.

J.Crew looks so good right now! I started ordering a few things for the fall transitional weather, including a blazer, loafers, and a scarf. I’m really into the scarf trend for fall.

  1. This is a great way to start a Sunday!!
Thank you for your thoughtful and informative posts. Super excited to get my book and calender
T minus 30 days until I get to experience Paris for the first time!! Doing it solo top!!!

    • Thank you, Stephanie! I am so excited for you and your upcoming trip. Fall is a beautiful time to visit. I hope you have the best solo trip to Paris. xo

  2. Loving the cherry nails trend! Also where did you buy the white short sleeve t shirt you are wearing on your first picture with Henry? It’s so pretty!

  3. We just came home from Paris after a two week visit. It was packed and Montmarte was a nightmare. We have been visiting for over 15 years and have never seen anything like this. It was not our choice to visit in Aug. but the special David Hockney Exhibition at the Louis Vuitton Foundation was our draw. It was fabulous but closing next week. Paris is our ‘happy’ place but Aug. is to be avoided.

    • Hi Linda,

Sorry to hear it was so busy and Montmartre was crowded. I hope you enjoyed other parts of your trip and still had a magical time in Paris.
