Links I Love Week 3: Year 2025
I am back from Paris after a quick and successful writing retreat. My first draft book deadline is approaching quickly, and I would be the most productive in Paris. A mixture of long walks on the Seine unplugged, late nights in my hotel lobby, and chats with friends (new and old) sparked my creativity.
The final stretch is on, with a deadline of less than a week. Henri has been by my side ever since I arrived home.
My energy for January has all been directed to this dream opportunity of publishing my first book. I am still working on my goals for 2025 and my intentions for the new year. Thank you for your support and encouragement. Xo
My heart and mind have been on those in LA and all of the GoFundMe pages you have shared of friends and family who have lost their homes and belongings in the fires. I will share some below and a few shared on last week’s links that I love from community members. LA will need our support and donations for the coming weeks and months. If you can’t donate now, your help will be welcomed in the future for so many who have suffered loss.
Grab your coffee and croissants, and join me for links I love.
The Parisian Chocolatier has a rebrand and is catching new attention. I have a box of Debauve Gallais chocolate on my desk while I write this. It is a stunning box filled with delicious chocolates that I nibble on in the afternoon.

The Sézane Winter Archives begin Sunday. This is a great time to find reduced-priced winter collection items. The brand does not do sales and this is the only time to get discounted pieces. For tips on shopping the archives, you can read this post.

What are the qualifications that make a Palace hotel and what are the ones that stand out in Paris? This is one step above a 5-star and so unique. Plus, a new hotel is being built now that is above a Palace Hotel. Any idea what it is?
Are these the perfect airport pants that you can also wear to work? I am curious to find out!
Mimosa flowers are popular in Paris in the winter months. I love the fragrance, and my hotel had a beautiful bouquet waiting for me in my room. While I worked all week, the scent lingered, and I wanted to bring it home. Diptyque makes a candle called Mimosa that smells very similar. I have been burning it while I wrap up this last week of writing.
Netflix just added this under the radar rom-com series. My husband and I started watching this recently and I enjoyed it. Has anyone else watched it?

What to Pack for Paris in the Winter
*This post includes affiliate links. I make a small commission off of items purchased from my links. Merci!
Hi Rebecca
Just returned from 5 days in Paris where it was absolutely frigid and cloudy but no rain 🙂
Shopping this trip was Sezane, Jonak, Bocage, City Pharma, Bon Marche and BHV
All of which I recommend.
I bought the Sezane Casper Trench in the “olive” colour, just gorgeous. Although I am petite 5′
The 34 fit is perfect and not too long.
Jupe Naelle and Pul Sami both in Natural make a beautiful outfit. Eau de Sezane too
If anyone is looking for Bacha Paris hair brushes, clips, make up brushes, they can
be found at City Pharma. Will have to research the whole line next time.

Thank you for a fun list of links to read this rainy Sunday, merci! I thought of you this week when I saw that a limited edition collaboration between Estée Lauder x Ladurée was released. It is super cute but I haven’t purchased any of the items yet, and was curious if you had seen it. Also, please tell Henri we said “hi”!
Hi Deborah,
Thank you so much! I hadn’t seen the Estée Lauder collaboration until you mentioned it. So cute! I put it in next week’s links!
Henri says hello as he sleeps at my feet. It is freezing in Chicago and we had a walk to pick up a baguette and back home to warm up.
Enjoy your Sunday xo
Rebecca
Thank you!
