Shop Paris Pink Peonies Print Here

It’s a long weekend here and the unofficial kickoff to Summer. I am in Ohio visiting my Dad for the first time in almost two years. I also got to see my aunt, uncle, and best friends from high school. Henri came along for the road trip and it has been fun introducing him to the family. I haven’t driven home in years so this also has been a good opportunity to purge some of my belongings at home and pack up some things and bring them back to Chicago. I found some gems including a few letters from my grandma and old photographs I thought were lost.

Grab your coffee and croissants and join me for an extra long Links I Love for the holiday weekend.

Am I crazy for wanting a pair of these sandals? I had a pair 20 years ago and they are back. My friend’s 2-year-old had a green pair and I had shoe envy.

I am adding this soy-glazed chicken recipe to my list to make. Chicken breasts are a staple in the fridge and I am always looking for something new and different to do with them.

I bought this Tata Harper cleanser on sale. I used it a few years ago and loved it. Once I saw it for 20% I knew I needed to grab it. Plus, my current Sisley face cleanser is on it’s last pump.

  1. I got a pair of the Arizona Birks in a pale pink and I think they are super cute, I know they have a reputation as a ‘healthy’ shoe or whatever, but they come in such fun colors now and they are so comfy.

    • Hi Sue!

I am so happy to hear you are on the Birks trend with me. Pale pink sounds adorable, I went classic black. I hope you enjoy yours all summer long!

  2. I adore your new and improved website! Thank you for graciously giving your time and creativity to your blog!! xo, Donna

  3. Get the Birks, you won’t regret it. I bought a pair of the white ones last year and they’ve become a staple in my wardrobe.

    • Thank you! I ordered them and they came so fast. I can’t wait to wear them all Summer long.

  4. I am curious about your opinion (experiences?) of-at Hotel du Levant? It is still a favorite place for us to stay when we visit Paris.

    • Hi Stephen,

I haven’t stayed at Hotel du Levant so I can’t give any feedback. I am happy to hear it is a favorite of yours. I will check it out next time I am in Paris.
