Links I Love Week 12 Year 2024
Happy Sunday! I hope your spring is off to a good start. Chicago had a snow dusting, and I hope my magnolia tree still blooms in the backyard. We are back from Telluride, and I am happy to be reunited with Henri. After a few lessons, I hung up my ski boots for the year and enjoyed riding the gondola into town for coffee and lunch.

Speaking of books, my friend Jane of La Cuisine wrote a book that officially comes out in April. She is doing a US book tour, and I purchased a ticket for the Chicago event on April 15. There are still tickets available (for now), and you support a small women-owned bookshop at the same time.
The Madewell Sale ends March 25th. My favorites are in this post. It is a great time to stock up on accessories or a new pair of denim.

We spent the week in Telluride at a rental house. It was lovely, but the main complaint was the pillows. I cannot wait to get back to my bed and good pillows to sleep through the night. We have these pillows from Boll and Branch. If anyone knows of a good travel pillow, I am curious to try it.
The Secret Superpower of Nicole Kidman. I enjoyed this quote “I have a very full life with people that I love. I’m raising daughters. I’m a wife, I’m a best friend. I’m a sister, I am an aunt. I have deeply intimate relationships, and I’ve always been that way. And that, to me, is the meaning of life.”

I was asked to share the sports bra that I love. Finding a good one can be a challenge if you are larger in the chest. I love this one.
I adore Stanley Tucci for his storytelling skills and his love of food. While in Telluride and not being able to sleep, I started listening to his book, which I am really enjoying. Since the story is read by him, it makes it special, and I am always hungry afterward. I need to order the hard copy for his family recipes. If you have Spotify, you should be able to listen to it for free.
