Bastille Day and Fourth of July Outfit Inspiration

We are finally out and about this Summer and Fourth of July and Bastille Day plans are on the calendar. These dresses, tops, and shoes can be worn for both holidays and carried through the rest of Summer. I don’t have big Bastille Day plans this year. I will be in between travels so most likely a little wine and cheese in the backyard. For inspiration, you can check out this blog post for ideas on how to celebrate Bastille Day at home.

Button Down Tank from Madewell $45. This is great with jeans or shorts.

White Cap-sleeve dress can also be worn with a denim jean jacket and sneakers or espadrilles

I love throwing on a red lip when headed out the door. In Summer, Poppy is my color. I will put a little gloss over it to bring it down a notch.

This flutter red shirt is a great pop of color for either festive holiday. Red is my color so I always have a current piece in my wardrobe ready to wear.

I wouldn’t normally go crop top but this one is adorable and goes so well with the new (old) style of jeans. If you can pull it off, I say go for it.

Denim smock dress. So cute with a pop or red or white. I would even do a fun headband or scarf with this.

Tiered short sleeve dress. Comes in black and white under $100 and it looks flattering. I always have at least one Summer black dress for throwing on to get out the door.

Tiered dress in gingham check. I have the solid red version of this and wore it for my video with Henri. Very cute and comfortable. I got a size XS so you may want to size down.

Ruffle Midi Dress in White. A great staple under $100.

Tiered keyhole knit maxi dress. This comes in a variety of colors and is on sale. An easy throw-on dress for a backyard gathering.

Joanna Straw Hat. A perfect addition to any piece in this roundup.

Mid-rise denim shorts. I have been wearing denim shorts for a few seasons now and I love them. Perfect with a button-down, tank, or t-shirt.

Espadrille Wedges these are great for Summer dresses and this color is currently on sale.

Rose cross straw bag. It is a bit on the pricey side but a great accessory if it is in your budget.

Striped boatneck long sleeve shirt. Perfect with denim shorts or jeans. I couldn’t do a Bastille Day roundup without stripes. I have a few in my closet short and long-sleeved.

Ray-ban aviator sunglasses. These are on sale at Nordstrom which is so rare. I picked up a pair for my fourth of July abroad in the sunshine.

Espadrilles. I have a flat pair and I have been wearing them with dresses out for date nights in the city.

Rattan clutch. This one is great for throwing a few things in and heading out for the evening.
