Links I Love Week 51: Year 2025

winter in Paris

This week was one of my busiest of the year: two events, my yearly mammogram, wrapping up shipping in The Print Shop, dinner with friends, and the start of Hanukkah. I am very much looking forward to slowing down soon for the rest of the year. We have one more week of “I love” links before the end of 2025. If this is your first year with me, I do a “best of” week, which gives me some time off, unplugged, while everyone is traveling.

Bed Threads is giving readers 15% off with code REBECCA15. This is our green bedding that I love so much. They have a color quiz on their site. You may be surprised by the answer! I want to layer more color in our bedroom.

In Paris, there is a new wave of Chocolate boutiques. Adding these to my list for January.

I just watched Home Alone with my nephew, so the movie is on my brain. One Chicago pizza store transformed into Home Alone’s ‘Little Nero’s’ for the 35th anniversary of the movie.

How to tie and style a French scarf. These videos have been filling my Instagram feed lately.

Currently crushing on the brand Kilte (wearing this sweater below). My code REBECCA50 gets you $50. I am eyeing this splurge travel set.

The top dining trends of the year. Via Chicago Magazine. I would say that one of my favorite meals was grilled chicken parmesan at Mario’s Table. Packed with flavor and not fried. We didn’t love Dimi Dimi.

Currently crushing on this chocolate suede Cuyana bag that is the perfect mini size. I plan on using it for a holiday cocktail hour next week.

The Waldorf Astoria has reopened and is on my bucket list for hotel stays.

For the winter months ahead, this eye cream and extreme cream duo is a must!

I discovered this French antique spot in the suburbs of Chicago. I can’t wait to check it out soon. The owner bought a few books from me at this week’s event and fell in love with all her offerings online. We are still on the hunt for a dresser, and this might be the spot.

Nordstrom is having a sale right now on a bunch of different categories. If you are still looking for holiday gifts, I would check them out. My Ray-Bans are on sale again. The Therabody massager I bought on Black Friday is at a great price. My dad’s favorite Facial Fuel scrub from Kiehl’s is on sale too!

  1. I always look forward to these “Links I Love” posts — they’re the perfect blend of travel, culture and little lifestyle pleasures. The Paris and fashion picks are lovely this week! It reminded me how much the start of any trip can define the mood, so having practical pieces like arranging a Click here in advance ends up making the fun parts — like savoring a pastry or exploring a new city — feel even sweeter. Thanks for the beautifully curated links!

  2. Hi Rebecca
I was delighted to see the article on Isle de Bendor. Our terrace overlooks the island and we’ve been watching it come to life over a few years now. Looking forward the the big reveal in 2026.

  3. Try Roederer Estate which is made in Anderson Valley, CA. When you visit the first thing you are told, “We do not make California sparkling wine, we make French sparkling wine in California.” I think they succeed and only a major expert can tell the difference between the two places. If you enjoy Roederer, try their Roederer Estate and you may save some money and have the same enjoyment.
