Links I Love Week 45: Year 2025

paris in the fall

Thank you so much for your incredible support this week. It has been so memorable, and I have felt everyone’s love. I had my first author speech in front of a large audience on Wednesday and met so many incredible people. I am still buzzing from the day! This Sunday, I will be at Slant of Light Books in Chicago for a signing of Paris Every Day with Henri. You can join me for coffee and croissants in person from 10 -11 am. I will also have notecards, totes, calendars, and more with me for purchase.

If you are not in Chicago, grab your coffee and croissants, and join me for links I love.

Why you should never prune hydrangeas in fall, note to self!

Ina Garten shares tips for turning up the volume on fall recipes. I love her.

Don’t miss the Cuyana private sale. This is an excellent opportunity to shop for holiday gifts. Discounts are up to 30%. Try the mini Celestia bag, the system tote, and the mini Paloma bag.

I love being inspired by the meals we have when we eat out, then trying to recreate them at home. This basil vinaigrette was close to what we ate out at our favorite pizza spot, Middle Brow. It needs some tweaking. My husband felt it was spot on. *Note: Middle Brow offers a seasonal mixed greens salad that changes all the time, depending on the vegetables and what is in season.

All about the Vallée de la Gastronomie, a food trail through France created in 2020. This is new to me!

How much dirtier can the dirty martini get?

How to style a simple crew neck sweater. I have my eye on this one next.

We recently ordered new linen sheets. What I love about this brand is the variety of color options. I was torn between a deep green and keeping everything white. Eventually, I decided to break out of my comfort zone and get the green. I didn’t realize there was a color quiz. When I did it, it told me that green was my color! You can mix and match these pieces, too, and I think I will try that way as well.

This week’s best sellers include an adorable Etsy wrapping paper shop, a tea advent calendar, the cutest pajamas, and my Cuyana tote.

French Men vs American Men. What it is really like to date in France.

I love a good hero story. We have a few Chicago Farmers Market stalls opening brick-and-mortar locations.

The pencil skirt is back, and I am here for it!

Have you ever seen the movie Now You See Me? I watched it on a plane, and it had me hooked and filled with magic, illusions, and suspense. They created a second one and now the third one is out this November. I have impatiently been waiting to see this. Plus, the marketing campaign they did in NYC was genius.

A friend of mine a few weeks ago mentioned the Yuka app, and now it is on my mind. Scan food and see the health, nutrition, and additives.

I love Ajiri’s Substack and recently discovered this French brand that I can’t wait to try for a facial next time I am in Paris.

White Lotus season 4 is rumored to incorporate Paris. See the hotels that are on the radar.

Bluemercury sale ends tonight! Save on my favorite caviar sticks from Laura Mercier, my Sisley Paris eyeliner, and signature lipstick.

Follow this simple scheduling habit for better rest. I swear by this clock, and I wake up at the same time every day.

All about how I fell into my signature pop of red and how we incorporated it into the book.

Chefs are moving away from plastic wrap and leaning into beeswax. Love this idea—now ordering some to try.
