My dad visited this week for Rosh Hashanah. We hosted friends and family for a beautiful dinner, which was a great opportunity to use some of the dishes we got for our wedding. Henri has loved having my dad here; seeing them bond is sweet. I made Dad’s favorite biscotti, and he traded me for cookies from a bakery in Cincinnati.
The week has been heavy in the news. Israel and the victims of Helene have been on my mind and in my heart. Here is an excellent resource for places to help Hurricane Helene families.
