It is a lovely weekend in Paris. I am happy to be here for work and spend time with my husband. We are staying in the Marais and have enjoyed discovering new restaurants, hotels, and wine bars. I can’t wait to update The Paris Guide before it goes to print later this month. You can sign up here to get on the list for launch. Also, Le Select has closed and Argot has just opened for French spots in Chicago.
For travel essentials, two have been stand-out MVPs of the trip. This universal charger was useful in England as I don’t have the specific adapter for London. I am working on my laptop with ease. Also, I have read that bed bugs don’t like the scent of lavender, and I had these antibacterial wipes with lavender scent handy, so I covered my luggage in them for the Eurostar. I will report back if it was a success, but it can’t hurt.
