Links I Love Week 12: Year 2025

Paris rootops Saint Germain des Prés

I am home from two weeks of back-to-back travel, and I cannot wait to get back to a routine, grocery shop, and cook in my kitchen.

In case you missed it, my husband and I spent a week in Colorado for our annual ski week. I decided to hang up my skis and stick to yoga and pilates. We had a beautiful backdrop of a snowy mountain while I worked from our hotel. I worked on book edits with my editor, and things are coming together.

Book cover progress! We drove to the airport through the snowy mountains over the weekend, and I got a text with a preview of the cover. It’s so close to being ready to launch. We have a few more tweaks before it can be shared, but I will tell you it is better than I imagined. I am truly grateful for a fantastic team.

20 ideas for your small entryway. We still struggle with the perfect piece to place in our little nook. Some of the antique French pieces I have my eye on for home.

We love using fresh honey at home. Our friend brings us some from her Michigan garden. We loved it so much that we ran out and are patiently waiting for a refill. I picked up some honey in Paris to use for now. If you want tips on where to buy Parisian honey, check out this blog post from La Cuisine.

I always recommend getting new bras yearly. This one from Third Love caught my eye, and another blogger recommended it. I’m ordering one to try out!

The cutest juice glass! I bought some of these for my sister for her birthday. They keep adding different variations. The croissant and ladybug are high on my list of favorites.

I always recommend packing an umbrella for Paris. I recently picked up this one from Uniqlo for $25 with UV protection in the fabric.

While in Colorado, I took a daily yoga class. Since finding a travel yoga mat that fits in my carry-on wasn’t easy, I bought this yoga towel and laid it on top of the rental mats. It was slip-free and a better option for me. It was worth bringing! This was my vacation hero!

My friend Jane wrote a reflective post on Finding beauty in pain and discomfort five years later in Paris. I loved her 10 tips on learning from discomfort and her four tips on quieting your mind. I talked about this being a goal of mine for 2025.

8 ways to get a business class seat on your next flight without paying full price

The Splendid Friends and Family sale is here, with 30% off using the code BESTIE. Their t-shirts are so soft and some of my favorites that I reach for in my drawer. In the spring, I am a t-shirt and jeans girl and cannot wait for warmer weather. This Andrea sweater is a great layering piece over a t-shirt or dress for transitional weather.

What I am listening to: The Parisian Chapter by Janet Skeslien Charles (I got an advanced copy and listened to it while in the mountains. There is still a little bit to go, and I look forward to hearing more this week when I am home). Before the last book is released, Read The Paris Library, also part of the trilogy. It is currently on sale via Amazon.

I just saw Ode a la Rose has mimosa bouquets! This is one of my favorite floral scents. You can find them easily in Paris but I haven’t seen them much in the US.

This is the healthiest diet in the world. I am on board!

I have a few new favorite styles from J.Crew. They are almost all on sale. I ordered this polo (thinking to pair it with a pair of white jeans), and now I am eyeing this white skirt because I saw someone style it, and I might need to recreate their look.

I am so happy to have added a navy bag from Cuyana to my collection. If navy isn’t your thing, you want to add a pop of color. Shop the bottle green edit. This is such a fun color for spring.

A shout out to reader Dorothy who shared these Pose pants from Vuori for flying. This is a more affordable option than the Alex Mill pants and Frank and Eileen Derry options I have shared in the past.
