Where to Find Peonies in Paris

The first time I discovered peonies was in 2011 on a trip to the South of France. A man had a booth filled with peonies of all colors and my heart stopped. If you didn’t know I really like the color pink and these flowers were the perfect shade and they smelled heavenly. When I asked my Mom why I didn’t know about peonies until then she said she never let them in the house because of ants… So I am quickly making up for it as each Summer I buy a ton! 

If you have been following me in Paris you know I head to the markets weekly and in the Summer I pick up my peonies from my favorite vendors. Fresh flowers are a wonderful addition to any home. In Paris the apartments are small so this helps add a pop of color and a good scent to those tiny spaces.
