What Parisians Are Wearing Now October 2024
This trend post is one of my favorites to write after a trip. You can see a past post from September when it was a little warmer in Paris. On each trip, I spend some time making notes and observing trends while I walk the streets of Paris. This is what Parisians are wearing now in October 2024. Keep in mind the weather was mild to start and very rainy. Stay tuned for a winter report when I am back in December.
What Parisians Are Wearing Now October 2024
Chunky scarves are the trend for Paris in the colder months. While I didn’t see much of it in Paris in October, I expect to see it in December and January. When I think of what Parisian women are wearing in the winter right now it is a long wool coat, crossbody bag, and a chunky knit scarf.
Boots to the Knee
Tights: Parisian Fashion Trends
Boots and tights continue to be a trend I have seen over the past couple of years. It is easy to do and a classic Parisian look right now.
Pops of Red
Red is one of my favorite accent colors for accessories. I loved seeing it on Parisians especially on the grey days. Sneakers continue to be a trend with Parisians including Adidas and Vejas.
Blocked Heel Boots: What Parisians Are Wearing Now
In terms of boots, I saw a lot of heel boots on Parisian women. Flat knee high boots were also trending above. Below are some boot options that have a similar heel boot I saw in Paris. Also, notice her Levi jeans. This was a popular trend I saw again in September. Lots of Levis in different styles.
Blazers Trends for Paris
Plaid blazers and oversized blazers continued to trend in Paris this October.
Loafers in Paris
Loafters continue to be big along with socks and loafters. Don’t be afraid to try this trend. Even loafers and tights were spotted in Paris.
Trench Coat: Clyde Sézane Trench on Repeat
The Clyde Trench coat from Sézane was seen just about everywhere during my week in October. I packed it in September but swapped for my Scott trench in October. I wish I did it the other way around.
Cropped Denim
I noticed a mixture of cropped denim with boots and flats.
Also, wide legged denim was the complete opposite sometimes covering the shoe. Both were popular.
Grey and Black Monochromatic Looks: What Parisians Are Wearing Now
Black and grey continues to be a trend. The ash color denim is something I saw a lot in September as well.
Canvas Bag Totes
Lepoard continues to be a trend in Paris. You will often see Parisians carrying a crossbody or shoulder bag and a canvas bag around town.
Long Coats with Crossbody Bags
Puffer Coats
The original Uniqlo puffer coat continues to trend keeping Parisians warm under their wool coats. I did see larger puffy coats in store windows. This Aigle really got me and I now have a coat from Duddley Stephens that is similar.
