What I Packed for Paris in September 2025

When it came to packing for Paris for September, I was in a rush to get to the airport on time. I pulled a few key pieces I couldn’t wait to wear in the fall along with some great staples like comfortable walking shoes, denim from Frame, and my trusted Cuyana bag for walking around the city with my camera. This post includes everything I packed for Paris in September. My favorite new find was my plane pants from AYR.

P.S. don’t forget an umbrella like I did. It is one of the things I recommend to pack each trip because rain always seems to pop up in the forecast even when it is unexpected.

This *La Ligne sweater is a favorite and I pack it for Paris every trip. It is a bit oversized in a size small and so cozy for the plane or a colder day. Layer with a white t-shirt.

September weather was on the warmer side. For the first time in years, I didn’t pack a trench. Did I regret it? 100%. The reason why is that it rained and it would have been nice to have with me as an extra layer. Parisian women were wearing trench coats in the rain and sun. They were so happy to be able to break out this key wardrobe staple once the weather turned a little cooler.

I packed this Jack blazer that was great for a shoot and happy I carried it on the plane with me.

The Best Walking Shoes for Paris

My Cuyana zip tote is perfect for carrying around a notebook, pencil, and my camera. I am always jotting down ideas as Paris is what fuels my creativity.

These Sambas were $100 and perfect for walking all day. I averaged 20,000 steps a day and these were the hero of the trip. Size down .5 a size. I am usually a 8.5 and ordered an 8.

Kathrine loafer by Larroudé. When I pulled these out to shoot with my friend Katie she gasped and told me how much she loved them. Loafers are hot in Paris with and without socks.

This black classic belt from Sézane came in handy and I wore it daily.

Sweaters for Paris in September

I packed the Paris sweater by Alex Mill in green. This color is sold out but they have a few other color options. I bought this last year and have worn it several times. It is a wardrobe staple and great with denim and a pair of flats.

For sweaters, I packed this Cos short sleeve sweater that kept me cozy and warm during the unexpected rainstorm. My one pop of color was a burgundy sweater from Sézane that turned out to be one of the trending colors I saw on repeat in Paris. Very on trend.

Blouse and Denim for Paris

Frame Denim is my go to. I packed the borrowed denim and mellow. The darker black toned denim wash was a hot trend. I even had this conversation with one of my Parisian fashion meetings.

Frame polka dot blouse

This Frame blouse is a repeat piece from earlier in the summer. I packed it for South of France and I couldn’t wait to bring it to Paris. Paired with Frame denim.

This ME+EM blouse has become a staple and I have been wearing it on repeat. It was the first thing I grabbed out of my suitcase after refreshing at my hotel.

What I Wore on the Plane to Paris

For the plane, I wore these AYR pants with pockets and I have to say I am in love. I ordered them in a medium and they were so comfortable. Plus, they have pockets which is a bonus for travel. The perfect white t-shirt is from Splendid. For the flight, I wear compression socks from Bombas.
