Links I Love Week 49

The past week has been nonstop craziness, but all in a good way. I am rushing orders out the door, and Henri and I swapped our walks to UPS to drive to get everything delivered! The last day to get your holiday orders in for The Print Shop is this Sunday, December 10. This allows me to catch up and have additional wiggle room to expedite any holiday orders. I will be slowing down later this week and cannot wait to bake in my pajamas and nap!

I took some time away from work for my annual mammogram downtown. If you haven’t scheduled yours, take this as a friendly reminder to make that appointment! I met my friend Tammy downtown for our holiday celebration that we do each December. It was so great to catch up, laugh, and soak up the festivities in the city.

One of my favorite holiday traditions is making cookie tins for friends and family. I bought these cookie cutters and tins at Target. Super affordable and fun! This post shows some of my favorite recipes I make each year. I will also explore some new recipes and search for something with peppermint.

If you are in Paris this December, visit the carousel at Place Vendôme put on by The Ritz. The area is so beautiful during the holidays, and this is such a fun addition.

This glass carafe and cup spark joy for me. I purchased it and set it on my bedside table.

The Louvre plans to increase ticket prices by 29% in 2024, the first rate hike since 2017.

The Sézane gift winners have been chosen, and emails have been sent. If the gift cards aren’t claimed, I will move down the list and select new winners. Please make sure to check your junk folder!

I added this serum concentrate to my beauty routine after Credo sent it to me. OMG, it’s that good. I have been using it religiously and learned it sold out before I could share it with you. Well, it’s back in stock, and you will thank me. Rub it between your hands and warm it up before pressing it into your skin. It smells incredible, too.

These pants are on my Chanukah wish list for colder days in Chicago.

I bought an Oura ring during Black Friday/Cyber Monday and am enjoying it. There have been several requests for a review, and I will share my thoughts next year after wearing it. I have owned and used an Apple Watch for years, which is slightly different.

I had a photo shoot on Friday with Yulia! It was a lot of fun to shoot together and be creative. I wore a lot of Merit makeup. Everything is linked here, including some Sisley favorites. There were a lot of questions about my lipstick colors, I wore this one and this one ( it’s sheer and not as bold as you would think)both from Merit.

  1. I received my tote bag, It is prefect size and love the white Everyday Parisian writing on the French blue. Your shipping is always well done (efficient and secure)! I got my calendar Paris 2024 earlier this fall and now the tote. Way to go in 2024! Merci et Joyeux Temps des Fêtes!!!

  2. I have the staub in teal and navy highly recommend and agree the darker color is so much easier to keep clean. I’ve been buying the Madewell earrings I’ve bought three pairs and have 3 others on my wishlist. They’re are great quality and the weight is perfect. Thanks for another terrific Sunday post it’s my favorite part of my Sunday especially with a pup named Oliver on my lap. Have a wonderful week and please give Henri a big hug for me and a virtual greenie from Oliver.

  3. I visited both Versailles and Fontainebleau and definitely preferred the latter because we were allowed to see so much more of the rooms than at Versailles. We took the train from Paris and the ride times seemed comparable to me, so if someone can only do one day trip, I recommend Fontainebleau. Although, if you are more into the gardens, you may prefer Versailles.
