Links I Love Week 37
As you read this, we are on our way home from a quick weekend in the Boston area to see family. Henri is hopefully enjoying his first time at a Chicago staycation at a border. I cannot wait to see him later today.
Calendars will arrive to me this week! There was a hiccup with production, and the hole to hang them in ended up on the bottom instead of the top. I worked quickly with my printer to correct this and ship them. I appreciate your patience! They will be shipping shortly.
The printed version of The Paris Guide has sold out, so many of you bundled it with your Paris Calendars. I am working on getting a new edition printed as soon as possible. You can sign up here to get your name on the list.

Hi – the sentence about TSA phasing out RealID is incorrect – they are doing a phased roll out.
Thank you for catching my typo, Marguerite! xo Have a great week.
I’ll be in Paris November 8-14 and expect to arrive with a BIG smile if the election goes blue. If not, I will do lots of shopping! I am not new to Paris but usually go with my “gay husband”, a gay dear friend who feels like a husband to me. He speaks perfect French and is usually my guide. Unfortunately we got a :divorce” recently and now I’m on my own. Your Sunday posts have so helpful to me and I expect to do just fine. I think one of those days (the 11th?) is a national holiday. Will the city be closed? Again, I’m so glad I found you!
Thank you, Carole! I am sorry to hear about your recent breakup. Paris has a way of healing broken hearts. There will be a lot closed on the 11th but some things will be open. I don’t recall being there on November 11th but I have been in Paris on Easter and it is very much still vibrant and open. Check with your hotel concierge about booking a dinner for that evening. They should be able to direct you to a neighborhood spot that will be open.
Darn…I leave Paris on December 10th and will miss ice skating at the Grand Palais. But hey, I’ll be in Paris and that’s pretty fantastic!
