Links I Love Week 34 Year 2024

summer in paris everyday parisian

In this week’s email, I announced that I will return to Paris in September. A lot of planning goes into each trip, and I find it one of the best parts of travel. I research new spots and hidden gems and try places on my list for recommendations. My goal always is for you to have the best trip to Paris. The Paris Guide is where I put all my favorite restaurants, hotels, parks, and places to shop.

I have been traveling to Paris for almost 15 years, and there is always something new to discover and a different lens through which to view the city. My last September trip was back in 2017. Each trip holds a different chapter, and I can’t wait to see what is in store for me on this trip. I promise to share more details on my agenda as the planning progresses.

The Paris 2025 Calendar is almost complete, and I have bumped up the presale date. Sorting through thousands of images to create the calendar has been a lot of fun, but deciding just the right one for each month has also been challenging. Keep an eye on your inboxes. We are finalizing the cover image and will share it later this week.

My husband and I squeezed in a date night this weekend. Pilates has been on my weekly workout rotation and I am really enjoying it.

According to Elle, these are the best fall sneakers. I just ordered these, as my sister-in-law recommended. You will want to size down ½ sizes. I am typically an 8.5 and need an 8.

Chicago had a taste of crisp air this week, and I am so excited about the change of seasons. Town and Country rounded up classic fall movies to watch.

Are you registered to vote? If not, you still have time. (note: if you have moved recently, you will want to check your registration) Make a plan to vote. Even if you assume your city/state will vote a certain way, you have the right and privilege.

My favorite summer $98 dress, which I have repeatedly worn, is now in red. I grabbed it for transitional weather and next summer. Red is my signature color, and this dress is too good to pass up. I also grabbed this dress. The new arrivals for fall are so good. This red coat on my wish list for fall. I see myself wearing this with jeans at a café in Paris.

This 560-square-foot apartment is a nature lab in the heart of Paris. I love the lines and neutral colors.

We sold out Le Marais sweatshirts, but I found this one with Jardin des Tuileries, and it is super cute. I ordered a medium and will report back.

This week’s best sellers. I just shot in the Chloe dress, and the black is sold out in many sizes. There are tons of other color options. I want to pack this for Paris. One reader told me it had Devil Wears Prada vibes.
