Links I Love Week 33: Year 2025

summer on the seine

It was a busy week, with a mix of personal and work projects. Our new fridge arrived, which took some reorganization and purging. This just happened to fall on the same day as the calendar launch! Our air conditioning has been experiencing some issues, and repairmen were in and out most of the week. (during a heat wave) No complaints, just hectic. I balanced it out with long morning walks and Pilates.

I had my annual gynecological check-up, and I encourage you to schedule yours, ensuring your Pap smear and mammogram are included. A friendly reminder to keep tabs on your health and ask your doctors any questions during your visit.

In case you missed it, the Presale for the Paris 2026 calendar is here. Pricing will increase at midnight on Sunday. Thank you to everyone who has placed their order. You can see the inspiration for the cover in this video. Also, I love to surprise and delight. Last year, I added something fun to the preorders as a little bonus. I just ordered something I have wanted to do for a few years now—a perfect little addition for back to school.

The pixie cut with bangs is having a moment. Here is how to nail it.

Bill Addison of the LA Times for Tasting Notes wrote an article featuring several Paris restaurants and highlighting a meal he can’t stop thinking about. It is worth reading and taking notes.

We’re stealing these chic silk scarf-woven braids from Copenhagen fashion week. LOVE these

Cuffed baggy jeans are the summer trend that is carrying over into fall. I just got these jeans from Frame, and I am loving them!

This reversible scarf belt is beautiful! There are so many fun ways you could style this.

New Beauty Arrivals I Have Tried and Loved:

Iris and Romeo just launched The Reset. A hyaluronic acid that hydrates and gives an instant glow. I have been loving the Iris and Romeo lip balm with SPF. The weekend skin is already a beauty cabinet staple, and I use it year-round.

Doré launched a new Peptide Serum and Essence Boost. They arrived this week, and I have been testing them out. A great, clean beauty option if you are looking for a healthy glow.

Elemis launched a toning mist that is refreshing, especially on the hot days of summer. REBECCA20 gets you 20% off your order at Elemis.

My favorite places to eat solo in Paris, and the tip I received from a waitress that changed the way I looked at dining alone.

J.Crew white skirt

White maxi skirts are peaking as summer ends. I have this one from J.Crew, and I have seen these on repeat on everyone in Chicago these days.

Currently crushing on these black slingbacks for fall.

I love my Pilates instructors. This article caught my eye as the 7 Things Your Pilates Instructors Wish You Wouldn’t Do in Class.

Post-workout, I love a good smoothie. This is the protein powder we have been using. Chocolate and Vanilla are both great.

I wrote a personal post about my health focus for the second half of 2025 and going into 2026.

Is changing your name after marriage outdated? I am proud of my husband’s last name and also my own. There is something special about seeing my last name on the spine of my first book.

This week's Best Sellers

This La Dolce Vita train trip is on my bucket list. I brought it up at a happy hour over the weekend and needed to look at the price again.

New Arrivals from Ann Taylor include this beautiful blue pleated skirt

These pants and sweater just arrived from Splendid. I did not expect to love them as much as I do. I ordered a size small, and the same with the sweater. It is the perfect coffee run outfit for when dress weather is done for the season. Use the code REBECCA20 for 20% off I plan on ordering the sweater in multiple colors!

We met friends for dinner this weekend and tried the new SKY, and I would return. For those of you in Chicago, they moved to Lincoln Park from Pilsen.

This is the summer of zucchini. We are putting it on our pizza tonight, and I love adding it to pasta too. How healthy is zucchini?
