Links I Love Week 33

This week started unexpectedly with a sore throat, quickly becoming a cold/cough. My husband and I got sick at the same time, our first time being sick together. It’s been a comedy of errors (taking DayQuil at night), but we are caring for each other and finding the humor in it all. My mom taught me to always have matzah ball soup in the freezer, just in case.

I recently shared that Away Suitcases updated their bags. They are currently having a sale on their old inventory. If you don’t mind the older model I own, you should take advantage of the sale. These will go fast!

Monica Vinader launched new stacking rings. They were kind enough to send me 3. I chose this one, this one, and this one that looks like paper clips. 1. Bonjour Rebecca ,
I hope you’re feeling better . I just tried to order a stackable ring from MV and the code REBECCA25MV isn’t working ? Possibly user error on my part ? I purchased a necklace earlier this summer and I LOVE IT!

  2. Love Rick Steves, but the problem with his recommendation to find a local restaurant on the fly is that choosing that way might result in your getting a table in a very noisy and rowdy place. If you are up in age that dog won’t hunt. So depending on your age, try to find an age and noise appropriate spot in which to dine. A hotel concierge could help or you could use the app soundprint. Good luck.
