Links I Love Week 31

Arienzo beach club Positano

I

t’s been a hot one in Chicago. We returned from Boston on Monday, and I returned to work. I have been editing Italy photos and can’t wait to add them to The Print Shop in August. The month is jam-packed with projects, and I look forward to seeing how they develop.

Over the weekend, we moved many items to storage and decluttered. I am moving around a few pieces of furniture this week and organizing for the upcoming holiday season.

I have a photo shoot this afternoon for an exciting launch in August. Stay tuned!

I splurged on the Dyson hairdryer with the Nordstrom sale price. Amanda, who does my hair, has been telling me to buy one. The dryer arrived this weekend, and I am already in love. It made such a difference, and I dried my hair in under 10 minutes.

    • Thank you so much! I really appreciate you taking the time to write. It’s a joy to bring links to you each week.

  1. Hello Rebecca, I subscribe to Ruth Reich’s wonderful Friday e-newsletter and in today’s edition, she has a bit that I thought might be great for your Sunday links. She writes about Veggies to Table, a nonprofit farm dedicated to ending hunger in Maine, currently running its second annual sweepstakes for a dream vacation. The farm’s founder, Erica Berman, lived in Paris for 20 years. One of the ways she raises money for the farm is via this sweepstakes (and the grand prize include a one-week stay in her Paris apartment with bespoke tours and meals). Here’s the link to the sweepstakes, which ends Sept. 18 — check it out! https://veggiestotable.rallyup.com/paris-sweepstake/Campaign/Details?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email

  2. I too have been yearning for the Dyson dryer. My stylist told me her supplier now sells it for $350. So, here we go. Tell us how your hair looks with it. My stylist uses it and I can’t get it to look that good myself.
Currently,we are doing some renovating which has taken up all my energy, so I do need something else to think about. Got a new car, a Tesla, which is like learning a new language, but more fun.

    • Hi Patti,

I love the Dyson so far. My hair was shiny, less frizz, and worked fast in under 10 minutes.

Congratulations on the Tesla. I am sure it has a learning curve but once you get the hang of it, you will learn to love it!
