Links I Love Week 23: Year 2025

This week was a blur with a lot going on! Wells Street Art Festival is next weekend, and I have been prepping daily. I will send out more details on my location, the art show is on Wells St. between North Ave and Division, June 14/15, rain or shine.

I shot an exciting campaign with J.Crew this week. Yulia is a gem, and I am dying to see the photos and share them with you. These might be some of my favorite ones yet.

Travel picks up later this month to see family in Florida. I dragged my feet on getting a REAL ID and finally forced myself to cross it off my to-do list. Officially done! One month late, but my strategy to wait until after the deadline saved me a few hours in line. You can still bring your passport as a valid form of ID, but I didn’t want to risk misplacing it since I depend on it for work travel.

I loved this article about Jessica Biel’s balancing act between motherhood and work. She looks stunning too.

Matcha is having a moment. Real Simple shares the amount of caffeine in matcha vs coffee. I have been enjoying this beauty matcha with MALK almond milk and a little extra regular matcha. It’s a great way to start the morning with a protein boost.

Loving these LAKE pajamas in both blue and green stripes. Summer wish list.

Why the fashion world is still obsessed with Carolyn Bessette Kennedy

I had a craving for chocolate chip cookies this week, and I used this recipe. My perfect cookie is a little crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. A tap on the stovetop a few minutes before they’re done, and a dusting of salt before baking, is my secret. They would make excellent ice cream sandwiches, which is where I am headed with this.

See more of what I cooked and baked this week over on The Paris Diaries.

The new arrivals from Cuyana are so good! Crushing on the orange and brown everything.

What designers love buying at flea markets and what they leave behind.

Confirming these pants are a home run summer staple. I ordered them in butter yellow. The small fits great. Last year, they ran big and a wider fit. These are more tailored and run true to size.

France bans public smoking starting in July. This does not include café terraces. “Tabocco must disappear where there are children.”

This dress in black is very flattering and a style I am loving this summer.

Six healthy habits to do every day to help you live longer.

Two things I regret not buying, and now I am on the waitlist. This $45 Paris scarf from Alex Mill. The polka dot Reformation dress is sold out in my size.

In search of anyplace but “the most charming village in France”

My husband read links last week and ended up buying the planters we needed for our front door. This weekend, the garden is finally coming together.

Why Coffee Pros Love the Moka Pot and How to Make the Perfect Cup. My family loves this type of coffee, and it is what they make when I visit.

This week’s best sellers include a great tube dress from J.Crew, a shirt dress from Boden (on sale), and the EBY bra you all have been loving.

Jane Birkin’s original Hermès bag goes up for auction in Paris next month.

Cadence launched a  Build Your Own Parcel System! These bags are so good and now come in a variety of sizes. This size will come in handy for my travel bag so my lotions don’t spill in transit. Also, how many times have you wanted a reusable clear bag for sunscreen at the beach? Protect your iPhone and valuables from getting wet, and love this size for makeup and brushes in your suitcase.

Tour a Paris apartment with an epic garden. But don’t miss the floors, crown molding, and marble.

I started photography in high school, using black and white film and developing it in a darkroom. Although my work is entirely digital, I have a desire to start shooting film again. This camera has my eye, and if I hit a few June goals, I would love to bring it to the South of France. She isn’t crazy expensive, but I like setting goals and achieving them. The camera is the perfect prize.

Portofino’s hotel scene welcomes back it’s Grande Dame. Adding to my bucket list.

I just ordered the new Varley zip-up in green. This is my Pilates staple sweatshirt, and I have a few colors in my rotation. (runs tts and I am a small)

How to research and plan a vacation on your phone using Google Maps. I do this all the time and have multiple saved maps for Paris, Chicago, the Boston area, and future trips home.

I minimize my use of plastic whenever possible. We have struggled to keep our Farmer’s Market bread fresh, so I just ordered this beeswax bag. I will report back!

Father’s Day is fast approaching. It is crunch time. One of my favorite gifts to give is a framed photo from a favorite trip or life event. My dad loves photos of my sister and me and the grand kids (and doesn’t read links), so we are safe. Framedbridge is my go-to spot for frames. I use them for The Print Shop too! You can still send in a digital photo and get it framed in time for Father’s Day. P.S. You may remember, I framed one of my husband’s favorite recipes of his mom’s to hang in our kitchen and it was a home run gift.

The best adjustable dumbbells. I have switched variations of these in my cart for weeks now. This article helped! I would love to know if anyone has a favorite.

Get your legs ready for summer. My favorite Credo combination is this exfoliant and body cream from Follain.

Can influencer brands survive influencers?

Boden is 30% off all dresses, including this one in blue that I wore earlier this week. The dress runs big, so I recommend sizing down one. I typically wear a size six, so I would order a size 4. I ordered this dress last year, and it’s an updated style; it’s slightly different.

Singles are trying a new approach to dating and meeting in real life.

A beautiful summer sandal in a variety of colors.

I ordered this dress in navy.  It is now almost sold out. I hope they restock. Also, I decided to break out of my comfort zone and ordered this blouse in the pink/purple color to pair with white.
