Links I Love Week 20: Year 2025

I hope you are having a great start to your Sunday. I have my Paris Every Day manuscript this weekend and am working on edits to send back to my team. (My mom asked for a video, so here is what I recorded.) We are in the home stretch before making final adjustments and sending it to the printer. I cried when I received the “front of the book” from my editor, Marie. This book and a big dream of mine are finally coming to life. The book is dedicated to my grandma; I know she would be so proud.

My husband and I are watching Your Friends and Neighbors. Has anyone else caught up?

We are still on the hunt for an antique entryway piece. This one is beautiful, but too wide for our narrow space. My friend Katie suggested this site for French antiques, and they have a new HUGE drop this Sunday.

Audrey Hepburn’s Swiss Villa is on the market. A look inside her beautiful home. Only one other family has lived in it since it sold in 2001.

Alex Mill just introduced the cutest straw bucket hat for summer. I also saw that ME+EM has one in several different colors.

The cure for time anxiety isn’t getting more done. Do you agree? I struggle with the current urgency culture at home and at work.

Skirt season is here. I usually wear short skirts, but I ordered this one on a whim. It sat in my closet for a bit (Chicago has been freezing), and I finally pulled it out this week to wear. It is adorable, and I styled it with a blouse and belt, but it could also work well with a t-shirt.

How to avoid friend group drama without picking sides. My niece and I talk about this a lot now that she is in middle school.

More favorite skirts here from Tuckernuck, Sézane, and J.Crew.

There is a special gift with purchase for Paris Every Day Presale Book Orders. Make sure you order by May 19 for this custom map made by my friend Sonja. (details here) Books and maps will ship together on October 14th, the book’s Pub Day! Presale is extremely important for authors and shows my incredible publishers the demand for the book from my audience. It also helps them with their order formula on how many books to order from the printer. If you have ever watched the show “Younger,” you know how vital presale is! Henri and I can’t wait to meet you on the road for hugs and book signings later in the year.

Boat shoes are here to stay according to Vogue. These are the ones I am eyeing for summer. From Rothy’s and a pair from Boden.

Speaking of Boden, their new arrivals are SO good. I love this dress, swimsuit in both red and blue, and colorful skirt.

Henri and I popped into Kismet on our afternoon walk this weekend. It is such a beautiful space filled with food and giftables. Adding this to my wish list for the book and an event!
