Links I Love Week 19: Year 2025

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers, stepmoms, grandparents, aunts, and female role models. I hope you can honor the special people in your life and take time to celebrate yourself. If you are struggling today, I am sending you love.

It has been a full and exciting week in Paris. I am home and back in Chicago, fighting jet lag. There are so many exciting things to share regarding Paris Every Day. First, we have a front cover, a back cover, and a spine! Yulia was over this week to take photos, but here is a preview. I squealed with excitement when I opened the box.

Preorders must be in by May 19th, so now is the time if you haven’t put your order in yet. My friend Sonja created a very special gift with purchase in Paris. Each preorder will get a map when the book ships on October 14th. If you have watched Younger, you know how essential pre-orders are to authors! This book is a dream come true, and I have been working so hard, along with my editor Marie, to bring my vision to life. I can’t wait for you to hold it and enjoy each season, one chapter at a time.

In Paris’s Grand Palais, a new take on the brasserie. I am adding this for my next visit.

I want a stamp made for Henri’s paw. I originally bought this ink set and could stamp most of his paw, which I will frame. This option on Etsy is a cute paw stamp, where I can send in the photo and get his actual paw. It is adorable.

AWAY just launched a colorful Kids’ luggage and accessories collection, and I love it! I want to grab a bag for my niece and nephew for their travels and, hopefully, a future trip to Chicago. The kids’ carry-on and backpacks are so cute and come in many fun colors.

The best fancy soaps to class up your kitchen counter. I love Aesop and would love one of their handwashes in our kitchen.

On my last day in Paris, a friend and I stumbled upon a home store that was too good to pass up. We ran around like two kids, rushing from aisle to aisle, laughing and giddy with excitement. I purchased a few things: a glass cheese keeper, a grater, this mini madeleine pan, and this jar opener. My husband smiled when I offered him the jar opener because it worked like a charm!

What to wear on a long-haul flight. I swear by this sweater and wear it every trip. It is so comfortable.

I found these adorable sunglasses in Paris and thought I would return to grab them, but I ran out of time. I found them available in the US here.

Bookmark this site for upcoming Brocantes (flea markets) in Paris, you can see by date and location where to find one. If you are headed to Paris, this is a great resource. I stumbled upon a Brocante in the 9th on my trip this past week.

While it is not boot season, this was THE one boot I saw on repeat in Paris last year, and it will be hot again. The reason why I am sharing this is that these are half off and all sizes are available. You will thank me later 😉
